Believe it or not, I've often wondered (usually while visiting Quebec) what the French for pick-up was. Is it just "camion", or does "pick-up" ever get used?

Here it is from another angle. You're welcome.

That's what you get for copying from the Chinese.

From an American perspective, everything you say makes sense. From a European perspective, this car provides nothing new: high-spec, top notch quality cars with manual and diesel are the norm. The original A-Class tried to do something interesting with the packaging, whereas this car just sticks a Benz badge on

I do - it might as well be a Mazda. Heck, it might as well be a China Brilliance.

"People are allowed to live how they like" - the point of the article is that some people are trying not to let other people live how they like.

I might be the only one who feels this way, but I'm sad to see such a resolute move away from the spirit of the original A-Class into anonymity. Yes, I am more than aware of the original's many faults; and yes, I appreciate that calling a car with a dinner-plate pointed star "anonymous" might appear inappropriate.

It's CP but I love it. Also, bright red (green, blue, etc.) interiors need to make a comeback.

"now defunct brand" - thanks for pouring just a little more salt on the wound of all those who miss Olds.

The Buggy is just crazy. Can't imagine they're easy to find - or afford.

You just sent me off to find out what a Daihatsu Fellow is. Amazing! I thought I knew my older Japanese cars, especially the small ones. Apparently not.

If you brought one of those to the US, you would have to drive it up to Connecticut so I could see it. Sorry, but that's one of the rules.

That is beautiful. They've pulled out of the UK, which makes me a bit sad as I have a soft spot for Daihatsu.

That isn't nice at all.

I think the main difference is that the Jeepster was attractive.

Lucky I've had my camera with me all day - just caught another one! No badges, but it's obviously a 99% production-ready Evoque Convertible.

Here's another spy-shot I took earlier today.

1. Yeah, they do

And, I would add, if something such has cancer has led to a mastectomy, that in no way whatsoever diminishes attractiveness. Not at all. Not even slightly. Beauty completely transcends the physical.

That's terribly sad to hear - your friend doesn't need any more pain. She is living, surviving and thriving - what could be more beautiful than that?
