On one hand it is nice that the delays has given us basically 20ish Fridays in a row to hang out in the MCU. Really helps with the wait for the vaccine.

And do we actually know who the original “missing person” was that led John Krasinski’s character to Westview?

Yeah I feel like there wasn’t enough discussion about the moment where she is checking out the mailman’s butt in episode 2.

Hard disagree. Especially because I’ve always felt like Infinity War and End Game both feel like they ignore civil war. Yeah the Avengers are split up at the beginning of Infinity War and that gets Tony into space and Vision stabbed but that is about it.

I’m not a fan of this line of thought

Hard disagree. The universe building drags Iron man 2 and Ultron down but it is handled so much better in Civil War.

I mean lets say we take away trilogies/series that were a book first. Purely original movies.

I think the point is that TLJ is able to the story it wants while building on what came before instead of knocking stuff down like Rise does.

Exactly. The idea that movie sequels and trilogies NEED to planned out is ridiculous. Best case scenario you get the prequels, which has basically two ideas spread out over 6ish hours. Worst case scenario you end up with Dark Universe.

Yeah that is really wild.

Yeah they’d still come shit on Star Wars and its creators.

What gets me is that a lot of these people hated the prequels forever but now they act like it is the holy grail of movie trilogies.

I mean the book has been on the New York Times best selling list since it was released and the comic is already going to third printing. I don’t think the mouse is depending on outrage to sell products.

I really wish this group of trolls could just move on. It seems clear to me that Star Wars, at its core, is not for these people.

Yeah I’m same way. I don’t exactly come to resident evil for the story.

Yeah the two theories in my head right now are that. Either the witches want him because:

Some counter points:

Wow this is a great answer to the question “Won’t godzilla just kill him with atomic breath?”

Yeah the song actually convinced me that this movie might have a little bit more personality than the last two godzilla movies.

Yeah it is hard because these type of movies have really limited screen space. To start you’ve got humans and the monsters splitting screen time. The humans are generally after some plot device that connects them to the monster. The humans are also usually explaining what a monsters deal is. The monsters are usually
