So Jessica Chastain’s character is in Jean’s head right? She is the “phoenix” or the representation of Jean’s dark thoughts? She doesn’t have a single line to any other characters in any of the trailers. Even in this clip with Magneto, he is clearly only looking at Jean. 

It’s a cheap narrative device if it’s introduced last second and gives everyone everything they want without any challenge. It’s still going to be the Avengers physically going back and time and fighting for the gauntlet.

Yeah I think one of the main reasons the show felt so subversive early seasons was the pacing. The show kinda fakes viewers into thinking Ned and then Robb are the main protagonists which is why it’s so shocking when they die. Not trying to start an argument I promise. But it’s crazy to me that you think Star wars is at it’s best when it’s a swashbuckling space adventure but you hate TLJ.

Yeah but there is a big differnce between the audience that watches the cartoons and the audience that gets star wars to a billion dollars in the box office. 

I agree with all but the palpatine point. I’m ok with the bringing back palpatine because it clearly is the reason we get that amazing shot of them in front of the destroyed death star.

I could probably google this but: Is Eternals also filming this year? Are these going to be the two MCU movies we get next year? 

Yeah kind of a ridiculous request but I can empathize with where he is coming from. I love seeing movies by myself because I like to be able to walk out of the theater and just think about it for a little bit before being bombarded with discussion and other opinions on it.

Key difference is that Rare didn’t lie about any features that would be there at launch. It was just kind of boring game. It’s a better game now. There’s no reason to hold a grudge. 

I feel like the young avengers have a ton of backstory baggage and just introducing Kate Bishop is far easier than bringing on the whole team.

Ok so I pretty much hate this show, but the marketing always convinces me to start watching it again. Glad they’re doing some old school slasher stuff after last season. 

Yeah I agree. There are going to be a lot of cosmic characters Eternals, guardians of the galaxy, captain marvel (I’ll also go on a limb and say thor is still part of this considering the reception to ragnorak).

Yeah even if you rebuild society you’d have to figure out how to cure the infection or it could happen again. 

Yeah, Johnson creating his own Star Wars story from the ground up has really exciting potential.

I truly don’t think Disney cares about those “fans” who were so upset they swore off Star Wars and came up with such creative insults as “Ruin Johnson”. His movie still made 1.3 billion and I’m sure episode 9 will also pass 1 billion.

Dang that stinks. Can’t win them all. Before the newest Blade Runner someone wrote an article of when to use the bathroom. There is a scene of Ryan Gosling just walking through the desert and it was perfect. Good looking scene but ok to miss your first viewing.
