I can’t belieive how far down I had to scroll to find this comment. I mean that could have taken out the entire wedding party.

LOL true but I think traditional movie definition means the conflict is solved by something not previously established in the film. Thor mentions a god killing weapon in the first 30 minutes and spends 10 -15 minutes of screen time creating it.
Yeah it was the last play of the game but there was plenty of other plays that could have tipped the balance in the bears favor. Idk I’m more of a basketball person but if a team loses by 1 you don’t blame your highest scoring player for missing the last shot of the game. (I realize these are pretty different sports)
and Age of Ultron established that the Hulk Buster armor is basically just as strong as Hulk. So it was basically like having the hulk there.
I hate to be picky but I don’t think Thor counts as a Deus ex machina as he spent the entire movie on a journey to get a weapon strong enough to defeat Thanos. He’s got one of the most complete Hero’s journeys in the movie.
That exchange did feel a touch edited to me. Like the lines were cut closer together than they will be in the actual movie.
Yeah my school has gendered bathrooms but a lot of floors also include a single occupant genderless bathroom. A more expensive solution but probably the best one.
Yeah that’s exactly why I thought it wouldn’t make it. After like the second flashback episode I was ready to give it up.
Granted I’ve never understood the appeal of American Horror Story, I truly loathed this season of AHS and don’t understand why people liked it. I mean the pacing to start, throwaway characters, and subplots that added absolutely nothing. Maybe the show just isn’t for me but that whole season seemed like a mess.
Why would horizontal scrolling be any easier to shove ads in your face than vertical scrolling?
Yeah people always put the original Iron man on the top of their list. I like it a lot and I get that it started it all, but man it really feels like they’ve stepped it up a notch over the last couple years.
I mean to be fair the original Men in Black trailer doesn’t give any sense of that either. “whiz bang haha” sells movies to big audiences not theme. Look at infinity war, the main theme is “would you sacrifice your loved one to save the world” and the trailers don’t sell that at all.
You might need to rewatch them. Exhibit A:
Now this is my kind of GOTY list. I already love a about half of these games and the other half I didn’t really know about but sound awesome! Thanks Gita!
holy shit I was at a basketball game the other day and the “dance cam” came onto the screen, I could not believe the sea of kids flossing. It felt like a huge cult just came out of hiding and was about to pull some crazy shit.
I always thought that was ridiculous. At it’s core “battle royale” is just another mode of death match.
So I’m not expert, but some of the dances are part of black culture. A bunch of other people then took those dances without permission and made a huge profit off of it. It doesn’t matter whether that culture ceremonial in nature or ancient in anyway. It’s still black culture.
Personally I don’t think actors need to look exactly like their comic book counterpart for it to be an accurate adaptation. Tone and theme are a little more important to me.
Jesus just let it go.
Personally I would have given the Hill House moment to family reunion episode. (I guess it’s not a moment) but it was what only 3 takes? And all so good.
