anytime somebody says that about a movie I like I have to go back and watch it and write down every reason I love it. Probably not healthy.

Some people just watch for the personality of the person playing, sometimes it’s because of their skill level, sometimes they can’t afford the game, sometimes you want to see the game but you have work to do, and i’m sure there are even more reasons.

It’s a super valid reason though. The point is that while hollywood is patting itself on the back for its strong female characters, nerd culture is still primarily about white males. Look at the Guardians stat. That movie has 4 main female characters and two of them only talk to each other for 4 minutes of the whole…

Idk.. if we can have entirely white casts in movies that take place in say Egypt or Asia than I think we can add more diversity in mostly white counties.

Yeah Rian Johnson working on three more Star Wars movies is both exciting and disappointing. I feel the same way about James Gunn doing another Guardians and Taika Waititi potentially doing more Marvel movies.

He’s awesome and would make a great movie buuuuuuuuut I’d rather see them take Bond in a different direction.

I mean if they keep saying there is a year in between seasons they’re good.

LOL I did not know that. Sounds grim. But I really don’t think they would spend the whole movie saving all those people and then just kill them all in the first 5 minutes of the next movie. This isn’t SAW or Resident Evil.

Yeah I don’t think they would go through that whole ordeal saving the population just to kill them off in the first 5 minutes of the next movie. (That kind of thing has been done before but not in a MCU movie)

Unlimited stars for Spider-man. I think the same can really be said for all sequels. Often times there is room for more story but the sequel will instead hit the same exact beats.

I’m currently on the fifth Saw movie based on Germain’s advice. I’m enjoying the twists on twists and flashbacks in flashbacks, but I don’t think I could watch one of these movies on it’s own. The only reason I keep watching is because I pretty much instantly get answers to any cliffhangers.

I would assume he’s only helping as a producer or executive producer. Maybe writing and/or directing one episode. I doubt he’d be showrunner or a mainstay in the writers room.

Yeah it was a mess. Also if you can’t enjoy a story because it’s “non-canon” than you might want to take an English literature class or intro to film class and learn a little about story telling.
