Great in theory. Shame our plutocracy would never let that exist.

Quality deflections there, bud. “this is the internet” indeed.
I want to see a Who Killed Hannibal meme for this MK bullshit. Tragically at work, so can’t really make it.
It pays to have at least some worthwhile idea of what you are proposing when you make a bold claim like that. Now you just look foolish.
People will still get jobs, they will just be different. People can pursue a passion career and not be destitute while doing so. Probably would lead to a major boost in life satisfaction and overall happiness for our citizens.
Are you talking about UBI? Because I am not sure that would really apply to most people. Many people will absolutely enjoy not working - but at least they won’t be poor doing so. Their spending still will generate need in the economy. Those who do work will use it for many things, like a security net for changing…
How do you kill it? What happens to those dependent on it? What does “start over” mean to you? How is the problem “fixed”? Got a system you think will work any better?
Per Wikipedia, it was made at a bar in Paris. Named for having the kick akin to being shelled by a 75. I like your story better though.
I had never heard of the French 75 outside of the artillery piece, which it is apparently named for! As a lover of Great War history, that is just too rad. And I absolutely love gin and champagne. How the fuck did I not hear about this until now?!
8/10, would watch this escalate.
That would be cathartic.
Contrast!
Uh, you’re the one fighting bud. I made a pretty simple point.
Heavy Americanized versions or not, I could eat moussaka and pastitsio every day of my life.
And it is the singular thing about NC I will miss when I move out West. $6 for a double bacon burger, hush puppies or fries and corn dog with a drink!? Fucking brilliant.
Flawless.
He isn’t a Libertarian. He is a Republican through-and-through.
And want LGBTQ+ rights and women’s reproductive rights. Those things the GOP pretty much stands firmly against. It seems like many modern Libertarians are much less Republican than people think. They don’t even overlap on economics anymore, now that the GOP is all deficit spend-happy and debt creating, etc.
