I used my Z-plan to get a new Mach-E for around these used money and even the eAWD Ext Battery non-GT models are entertaining enough to drive when you want to.

At Stellantis, we have no fucking clue what you want to buy, and frankly, we don’t fucking care, either. We’ll keep making cars hardly anyone wants to buy, and there’s no amount of logic or reason that will tell us otherwise.  Fuck you, America.

A lot of these vehicles are overpriced for what you get, the Hornet is a neat little car but the MSRP is at least $5K too high to start off and rapidly goes off the rails, the PHEV is just insanely priced for what you get.

I remember that episode. What stood out in my mind the most was how much Clarkson raved about the car’s acceleration. Clarkson may be full of piss and vinegar and say random awful shit, but he doesn’t lie about this type of stuff. Plus, the real guy in charge- Andy Wilman- is unbelievably by the book in this regard, and honestly probably had final say.

Two things happening here. First is that the C8 was artificially blocked from depreciating due to supply chain constraints. It probably would have been similar-ish to the C7 in absence of that.

That would be a a good conversation piece to have in the driveway, but the stupid high price makes it No Dice.

Very easy NP. Reliable, luxurious and smooth. I’d rock the shit out of this for a lot of highway driving. It’s got another 100k or more easily in it, if the interior can hold up.

The most interesting thing about this listing is it reminded me of the Vert-A-Pac rail cars GM had designed and built for shipping these.

So far we’ve seen this robot as a guy in a spandex suit, then an elaborate mechanical turk being puppeted by someone just off camera, and now locked away behind glass. But surely it’s not just more vaporware to pump Tesla stock price.
