Unfortunately VW is filling out the SUV lines to each and every nook and cranny of a size in every badge they own. Just stop already; too many models across too many nameplates. Stop, stop, stop.

Dealer’s coked up trying to sell this Coke machine for that kinda cash. ND.

I see a broken and abused old, but not classic, throw away car. However, the pricing gives me that ‘I know what I have’ vibe from the seller. ND all day.

This idea beats a Fiat 500e option any day. That’s also a fun little car, but this would be waaayyyy cooler.

One TV? Pffft. I once fit a dishwasher in the front seat of my 2DR ‘94 Camry.

2 years ago this was nearly $8k, and not a deal then.  Also, not a deal now.  ND.

Maybe you’re a chatbot DigitalDan, or shall I say ‘Pinocchio’?

So.... you mean NP, right? For the wheels?

What are your thoughts on the aero disc wheels?  Great, or just ugly?

All of this maths . . . exactly this. I think it’s that people forget, people need immediate satisfaction, and most people are never content with ‘good enough’. They just WANT IT.

Agreed. I don’t understand the EV range anxiety. I don’t fill my ICE car every single day, who does that? 237 miles is a long way in a commuter vehicle no matter what you’re driving or where you’re commuting from. 24 miles per day (avg. SD/LA miles/day), charging on a 110V outlet, is at least 2 weeks before you need a

This, or Audi R8 V10 Cab.  Unreal handling, growling V10, and an easy to use daily driver.

This video is incredible, considering the car that hit the bus was traveling at 100mph.

Yay for Cupra.  Way better than Skoda, or Seat, by far.  Somehow they’ve taken the basic VW template and just added a little Spanish flair to make a very appealing vehicle.

Given the freight trains run the tracks, unless they’re paying some pretty hefty premium, this isn’t going to be any better than Amtrak. Amtrak doesn’t connect to airports on the West Coast (buses only), meaning this rail won’t either (maybe that’s the appeal) and so who is this for again? Rich folks that don’t want

Water in the gas tank. Engine a no go.

The Taycan is a much better place to sit than any Tesla, including the S.  My friend has a 4S and it’s just . . . really . . . nice.  It’s a well executed EV, except for a lot of the buggy software issues it has.  Be aware of that.  German software engineering isn’t the best.  Look at SAP . . .

I also put Conti Ex DWSes to replace Michelins on my S5. Fantastic tire. I historically just always bought Michelins, but not any more.

Agreed, given the slight conditions of the exposure and the reported pitting/orange spots, 301 is likely, probably not 304. 316 has a higher molybdenum and nickel content and so has more corrosion resistance if other elements are in play like salt or other metals.

It’s the same trio doing the same thing they’ve done for the last 20+ years, just a little bit slower. What’s wrong with that? We all slow down eventually, and the format has changed a little, but go back and watch an early Top Gear special, compare it to a Grand Tour special and tell me you didn’t laugh at both. If
