I think it’s the paint job.

Fisker: “Hey there Smoke, meet my friend, Mirror”

All police, sheriff, and fire scheduling / OT shift work is totally out of whack. They have ‘built in’ 12 hr days to push everyone into guaranteed overtime pay, then towards retirement, jack the final salaries to lock in maximum severance packages. They retire at 55, divorce and remarry a 20-something, die at 75 and

Just scrap it. Or make a nice 928 bodied fish tank out of it.  Too much head ache here to make it worth it.

    I’m so sorry for you.

But just look at it.  80's TV antenna alone doesn’t justify $$ > $10k.  You high, man.

Not terrible. Today’s used car market pricing for a comfy touring vehicle . . . this is a very decent option, budget $4k for additional maintenance post-purchase, though.

Rolling along in my S5 at 70mph I hit a re-tread that had just exploded in front of me. Left a wicked looking black streak all over the front left bumper. Screamed obscenities because re-treading is frickin’ dangerous, and why is it allowed (sep subject)?  Went home, rubbed the giant black streak from the bumper, and

This made my day. Star for you.

    ‘Cause it’s Canada . . .

Audi S5 (2010) w/supercharger engine: 8 hrs to replace a $75 thermostat because it’s located behind the dang supercharger!

Uuggghhh, so annoying that a $8.5k car is now expected to command a $15k price. WTH.  It’s a nice car, but, honestly, this is ‘Bring a Trailer’ overpriced.

Agreed. $10k, maybe. Otherwise ND, CP, hell no, etc. . .

Over $4 in Los Angeles, CA taxes at work.  Worse if you’re even slightly in the ‘burbs.

And here is the current LX, which just looks absurd.

Indeed, $16M in 2 years running a website and making some Youtube videos? No wonder they pulled the plug, complete financial mismanagement.

This is all the other way around. If you read the history of the relationship between the two companies, Google engineers simply ripped off a smaller company’s technology and due to their massive, monopoly of tech, built and shipped millions of cheap, knock off devices. And they thought they could get away with it.

Classic ‘I know what I have’ pricing. ND for a 12 yr old Porsche that was $72k when new. 25% is WAY too low for the depreciation over 12 years on a German Unicorn that requires elves and fairies to fix.

I suppose you’re right, no such thing as a truly closed system. Someone, somewhere along the line established a way in, no matter the interface:  wireless, or direct connect.

Both made in China, but would you choose Huawei or Apple phone software? The one that has no oversight, or the one which the FBI had to utilize third party assistance to crack it open? Not quite the same.
