If a Top Gear mechanic can get a drowned, burned, blown up Hilux running and a shop can’t this POS going, CP all day long. Lots more wrong here than is posted.

Just let it go. You have to put the ol’ dog down at some point. This one is ready. Seller should take the tax write-off for a donation and parts ways.
Sooooo many dark and dank corners on this burned out No Dicery demon. I can’t image this poor thing making it on the road again. Sad to see this rarity go, but it cannot be undone.
So dated and uninteresting. A used EV with all the conveniences of 2015 can be had for the same price. Just as uninteresting, but much safer, economical, and potentially more reliable and quick. No Dice.
All these cars look the same. 1990s MEH in different colors. It must be related to being between the point where the industry removed the 80s body panel styles and the ability to more cheaply form the uni-body designs. They’re all Ford Mondeos.
It seems pretty simple to have all head and tail lights on at all times, set for appropriate intensity depending on the ambient lighting conditions. Why is this so hard? It’s $15 in sensors and embedded algorithms. So silly we even have to talk about it in 2020. Car makers, get your house in order, or you don’t pass…
I whole heartedly agree with you; the fantasy aspect is lost with age and technology exposure. Wish I could go back in time to an earlier age of innocence w/regards to all this. As for the peeing part, you may need to see someone about that.
Great car, but worth $9000 only; and that’s factoring in everything (nostalgia, mileage, COVID, functionality, and condition).
I know it’s not a 5sp manual, but a 2017 Fiat 500e w/15k miles for $8k is your ticket. Environmentally friendly, no gas $$ required, space for your ramen and Cutlas parts. Has modern conveniences and you will win over all the ladies. Trust me.
A wonderful old car in great shape, but to what end? Too bad, a shame, a piece of history, but no one will love or need this old thing.
Ugh. Anything ‘minor’ on an Audi is $1200 and anything closer to ‘major’ is $2500. I love my S5 Cabrio, but even regular maintenance is $2k (brakes (incl. rotors every time), control arms, whatever).
It’s a HoFoProToChev, incredibly rare.
There is no way that Blazer climbed that incline in the Brazilian promo video. No way.
Achingly No Dice. Friend had one which caught fire and burned down, and it was only 20 yrs old. No thank you on this one. Gorgeous, strip it out and hang it on the wall, but not worth the upkeep.
Used car private sellers have all gone COVID crazy. The last 10 NP or ND car listings are > 30% over their real value. What is wrong with people? Is it that they think we all wanna wrench on 40+ year old pieces of junk because there’s nothing else to do? It’s super annoying.
OMG that is the best watercraft ever invented. 60mph Orca? And ride it like a stand-up SuperJet but with 300HP? Best.Toy.Ever.
For those who are all Chevy all the time, this is a decent alternative to driving the Envoy to work.
Even with the current high price it’s lower margin, so it’ll be a long time before a mainstream car maker can make a go of it. They need to revamp their parts supply chain to get costs out, innovate manufacturing, and then maybe a$30k EV from a major car maker can get to the gas powered margins.
Anyone know how many Maserati Levantes were sold last year? It’s the most equivalent competitor and given those numbers we can figure out if Aston is going to make it or not.
Wow, that is an amazing, but uncomfortable video for any efficient design effort. No wonder they’re not successful. Supposed to be designing cars and instead they’re sketching flowing manes and trying to get their works into MOMA. If it was my money I’d be pissed.
