And you probably don’t even have to push the throttle pedal a full six inches for it to vaguely jerk forward. Pure luxury!

We’ve had several friends comment on “How did you afford that?”

By the way, this asshole you quote so well probably lives in Bumblefuck, Wyoming about 159 miles from the nearest town and bitches about the USPS (even though fair rates for him should be 20 times higher), bitches about communist Amtrak (even though Amtrak makes a lot of money in the NE corridor and then gives away

I hear ya! Because of course you’re not wearing a mask.

That drives me insane. Nobody would blink if you rolled up in a brand new loaded Explorer, but drive a decade old German car you got for $10k and they think you’re Richie Rich.

To be fair, compared to a creaky old LLV a Metris might as well be an S-Classe. They have *air conditioning*!!

“WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT, WELFARE ABUSING, GOVERNMENT OVERSPENDING IS THIS?! A FUCKING MERCEDES IS DROPPING OFF MY MAIL?! I CAN’T EVEN AFFORD A NEW FUCKING KIA, AND I’M PAYING THAT ASSHOLES SALARY TO DRIVE A MERCEDES?! NO WONDER TRUMP WANTS TO KILL THE USPS, THIS IS BULLLLLSHIITTTTTT”

A fellow I know quit flying about 20 years ago.  He told me that at that time his aircraft cost $7,500 per year in maintenance before he flew a single hour.  That cost didn’t include hangar rental, insurance, etc.

Nah. If not for the parts availability issue this would be NP.

You could find a cheaper plane for about half that; but, if you want something with similar power/retracts/variable pitch prop this would be on the cheap side, especially with only 400 hours since overhaul.

Listed on Facebook market place? I immediately assume the seller is hiding a lot here by not listing it on a dedicated aircraft site where buyers are presumably much more knowledgeable.

I’ve heard of both Porsches and planes that to be able to afford owning one, you need to be able to afford to buy two.

I was planning to sell my manual 135i because I have too many cars. Yesterday, I took it out on a spirited drive in the santa cruz mountains - to pick up 50 lbs of tomatoes - with the kids. One of them threw up. But I had a goddamned blast and changed my mind on the sale.

Buried the lead here. The eradication of polio is wonderful!

I’m replying to this comment to hopefully push it up higher. Overall I think the design is fairly successful, apparently unlike many others here, but the grille is just *too* big and blocky. It seems like Nissan is attached to it as a deliberate callback to previous versions but your design works much better for me.

Thank you. I really hope someone at Nissan sees this, because that instantly fixes the one major design issue I see with this car.

Shit, that does make it look better.

That looks way better, great job dude!

Please don’t release it with that plain square grille Nissan... this took me 10 minutes, I’m sure it can be updated at this stage:

I was confused by your comment “of either trim level”, because the 2018 Sport is still very de-contented compared to a 2017 Touring manual.
