Engines, under low load and low boost (if they have forced induction), will run the fuel in a stoichiometric fashion. So a 14.7:1 air:fuel ratio.
Yeah I doubt the 3rd or 4th gens would have had the same problem...
Probably about as well as the 2nd gen Prius I rented in Arizona...in July. The battery ran out of juice ascending some interstate grade between Phoenix and the stupid meteor crater...and the hamsters within could not quite maintain the speed limit. It was annoying for sure, but we lived.
And they also must have an additional restriction...the only TV in their home is a ~1992, 27" Zenith console TV (but it does have the Bose sound option, and the glass door for the cable box and VCR).
After it loses the buttresses and light bars, and gets the Navigator rims, it just needs to be called the Lincoln Town Truck.
They should honestly throw the face, interior, and rear suspension of the Navigator on a truck, and name it the Lincoln Town Truck. I think it’d probably sell well enough to make it worth their while. Especially if it had the PowerBoost 7200w “emergency generator” as standard.
Never seen a B100. But I now want one desperately with a 2.7 swap (or at least fuel injection on a Windsor).
Because of the chicken tax, I find it amusing that they charge extra for the rear door glass on the cargo vans.
Curious about what fuel economy you get out of your Transit Connect.
Way better than the non pleather portions of an (my folks') E83 X3! Love the stretchy not leather / not pleather / not cloth material, but it started cracking on the driver’s seat leg bolster at about 4.5 years and 55,500 miles.
Without question, Bojangle's is better. For proof, you can still go to Bojangle's to try! :-P
I want one of those early 5 speed Discos, but with rear air and sunroofs.
They’ve never expressed any sort of political position. At. All. I think there is probably a mix of different views, judging the personalities of the presenters. It is refreshing that they don't go there.
In the states, many people with rear fog lights run them *all the time* they have their headlights on. And just try to explain it to them that they should turn them off when we're not in the middle of an extreme downpour or fog, because they’re blindingly bright...
And kill the CVT.
I wonder if that's because of the strange rule that turn signals can not be on a movable trunk or decklid in the US.
This is less attractive than the current Escalade and the current Navigator...and the current Escalade is better overall than the current Navigator.
Gotcha...thanks for the info...I was thinking wrong then!
The Alero was a Grand Am / Malibu sibling...the Achieva was the Cavalier’s sibling. Loved the first gen Aurora myself. Not so much the second generation.
