I call him The Annoying Orange.

Agreed, the configurator is definitely broken. Won’t select the 6 speed manual and sunroof!
Yeah it was driven for well over 5 minutes with no crazy revving or curve carving, and then I got bored and assumed that they continued driving in the same fashion...so I don’t think any harm was done to the car. (I’m of the opinion that it’s fine to redline a properly maintained, not too aged, warmed up car.)
I refer to Trump as The Annoying Orange or The Supreme Leader.
I’m 6'5" tall, 180#, and I was actually shocked at the driver’s space in the rental Fiesta my friend had me drive her around in. It was not as roomy as my MK5 GTI, but it was better than my work NV200. Without shoes, it was about right.
Do they only come in “useless below the Mason-Dixon line black leather” (/ pleather)? Or are they available in fabric, or grey, tan, or saddle leather / pleather?
So, one day...my friend and I are at my childhood family getaway spot, a tiny lake cottage near Ft. Bragg, NC. I’m waxing my 1996 Mercury Sable LS, Chromedilla deSable, and he decided to wax Blacura, his black 1990 Acura Integra with peeling clearcoat on the roof. He locked the keys in his car. I had to scramble. My…
The problem with moving to the SC Volvo plant area is that the cost of living in Charleston is ridiculous.
I miss my Morticia the Intrepid, but I agree with your assessment. My car fortunately had the 3.2L.
This is so true, all of the obese people have been encouraged to further expand because of the high riding cars.
It’s weird that the Focus ST has the same style flat tappet fuel pump as the VW 2.0t FSI. I replaced the follower on my VW at 120k miles as a cheap and easy insurance policy, tho my original one was fine.

Agreed, loved season 2 of The Grand Tour. It was a perfectly natural extension of those three on Top Gear. The last episode was weak, admittedly, but there was only one mediocre episode aside from it. Pretty good showing for the second season.
Correct, it’s just a different spec. I try to use 504 (low saps) or 505.01 (mid saps) spec oil. It’s acceptable for shorter intervals, I change it by 6k miles. It would be acceptable for the full interval if you only have ultra low sulfur gas...but it is not possible to guarantee that your gas is ultra low sulfur…
The way I have worked it out in the past is similar. I shared a 3 bedroom townhouse with 2 other roommates. Master bedroom tenant paid the same amount as I did, with one of the smaller bedrooms, shared bathroom and use of the garage, and the other roommate paid less than us. We split utilities 3 ways. When one person…
Blue or red on the Stinger are the best by far, followed by black. It doesn’t have enough presence in the other colors, and less in black than blue or red.
Good that you became acquainted with your car, I’m sure that V10 is jammed in there, ha. Were you out of warranty by that point? I’m amazed that misfires could be caused with that little amount of buildup, I’d suspect a glitchy coil or plug initially, not that I’m doubting your findings. I had misfires once because I…
Those were almost spotless to start! Barely any buildup compared to the typical horror story pictures. Good to see that the PCV system on that engine is doing its job as well as can be expected.
Where was that, btw? I have yet to get the intake valves cleaned on my FSI GTI at 166k miles. I was too scared to look when I had access to a good boroscopic camera a month ago, ha. I’d normally do it myself, but for the one time job, it’d probably cost me $250 in supplies and parts (and I already have a media…
Totally with ya, man! It might be because of the mediocre oem tires or whatever replacement tires he bought and driving on a road trip from NC to Massachusetts in a blizzard. But thanks, my friend was fine in that wreck, and the subsequent non ice or snow related rear ending that I assumed totaled it...I actually just…
