I grew up on Jiffy Honey Date Muffin Mix. It was BY FAR the best of the lot. They inexplicably discontinued it like 20 years ago. I believe they briefly brought it back around ‘05, but it didn’t last long. I miss those damn muffins so much...

As a word of caution, thermal paper is coated with very fine BPA powder, the same chemical that caused all of the water bottle panic a few years ago, but in an even more easily absorbable form. Wash your hands often!

When I was a kid, my mom had a mandoline that had metal pins to hold the food in the guard, rather than cheesy plastic teeth, which never hold stuff well, and I think are the reason people don’t like to use them. The metal pins always gripped rock-solid. I’ve been through 5+ mandolines, trying to find one that DOESN’T…

The 2nd gen Talon TSi was one of the best all-around cars built in the 90s. I’m staring out the window at one right now, and it’s still better than a lot of cars 10 and 20 years newer.
