Two people talking about what they wanted to eat made me cry.

*cough* I thought Nina West’s witch look was hilarious, however, accused witches in America were hanged, not burned. This has been pedantic witch corner.

One of the things I love about this show is how little toxic masculinity there is in Rafael. When he starts reading Jane’s eulogy for Michael, it’s filled with traditionally feminine details because... you know, that’s who Jane is. But Raf doesn’t feel compelled to preface anything with “no homo” and it’s not played

I agree about not loving the love triangle but I do think/hope Jane will end up with Rafael (and this is coming from an early Jane/Michael lover)

Going to give my review as a reply to your comment, because I think Shuga was the MVP and I fucking love the girl at this point, giving Stockard Channing realness and pulling a Milk like Milk wished she did. Actually Yvie also did a kind of Milk. Milk, you set a precedent for queens to improve on your ideas! Nah,

It’s not that serious sis

Good God sis this ain’t C-Span.

The show actually did well to highlight the multiple shades of Trump’s terrible character and the horrible stain that is his presidency. There is nuance in being able to point out that he is both an idiotic buffoon who surrounds himself with desperate sycophants, while also highlighting the awful consequences his

Thank you for reading, and for your thoughtful response. I think we saw fundamentally different things in the Rusical. To me, the portrayals of Conway, Sanders, DeVos, and the other women supporting Trump did not diminish the threat they pose to our country, but underlined it. “There is nothing I won’t do” is not a sil

HOW was Shuga not chosen to at least be critiqued by the judges? She was the one queen (other than Yvie) that tackled the challenge in an atypical way.

I don’t know that this episode was an A but it definitely surpassed expectations. The Trump rusical was actually watchable and the two bottom queens were not full on trainwrecks

Mercedes showed more life and personality when she went to pack up in Untucked than she did anywhere else this season; it was almost enough to understand why she had been cast. Perhaps she was truly intimidated by the other girls.

I liked Joel and the reactions Michelle was giving, it felt odd but also kind of hilarious that the editor kept underlining Michelle’s annoyance.

I mean... I know how in the past I’ve said I hate quibbling about grades, and I hate hypocrisy, but this episode is in no way an A. The top grade. Hell, last week, despite having on the worst group performances, had one of my favorite sequences in the history of the show. These week had nearly none of the highs that

I feel split on Joel McHale. I think he offered generally good critiques and praise to the girls, but he overestimated how much bro energy was needed on this show. I must say, I was thoroughly entertained by every shot of Michelle giving him side eye.

Nothing wrong with being attracted to breasts. (I am, and I even have a pair of my own!) But you can use your evolved brain and socialization to not be weird and disrespectful about it.

One of the smart things the show is doing is showing the love interests growing in their own ways, too. So if Rebecca does wind up in a couple as the show ends, it’s because they’ve both done work on themselves before coming back together--and they’ll probably acknowledge the choice isn’t necessarily permanent or

The audience extra to Paula’s left also had the best “eh” face.
I also liked Beth’s retort “You’re mad at me. I can tell from the yelling and overt anger.”

“You got all that out of ‘Apple Man’?”

Paula and Valencia’s girlfriend’s horrified looks during the “pirate king kidnapped and forcibly married me” song killed me. Great critique of all those old Carousel songs that are just like, cheery descriptions of domestic abuse.
