Nah, I love (young) Eddie Murphy, Donald Glover, and Kevin Hart's stand up makes me laugh my ass off. His movies are godawful, but his stand up is fantastic. Just haven't seen a "Black" movie that I would consider to be outstanding comedy. And the writer of the article would seem to agree.

I'm trying to think of any… non "pale" comedy movies that I would consider standouts from the last 16 years…none come to mind.
