@iPolak: America did invent modern democracy in many senses - but certainly wasn't the originator of basic democratic ideas (nor the first to nation to have democratic characteristics).

@fleebailey33: I realize your post is almost 6 months old, but I am curious as to the reasoning behind it.

@dajungki: To pose the question again - do you think you are in a better, worse, or equal position to the jury to determine what is a "fair" verdict?

@dajungki: So you think, after watching the above clip and seeing various snippets of news coverage that you are in a better, worse, or equal position to determine what is a "fair" verdict vs a jury (that wasn't all white) that heard very detailed testimony directly from both sides?

@dajungki: Stupid - yes, but how is that racist?

@Lucavi: I am very sorry that what you desperately wish to be true doesn't match the reality of the situation - please accept my condolences.

@Lucavi: You should really just try to salvage whatever shred of dignity you have left and admit you are incorrect.

@Apostropartheid: I am pretty sure both would sound the same (speaking). =P

@Halo_Override: I believe the correct term is "paper" sir; in this case I can assure you that paper is going to get got.

@Halo_Override: At least you are overtly coping out, as opposed to trying to obfuscate it with more nonsense.

@Lucavi: No. Please go fail at comprehension somewhere else.

@Cado: No, they are supposed to be purchased by whomever decides to purchase them. Those people shouldn't have waited to the last minute, but because they decided to be lazy (or lacked initiative, or whatever) they will have to pay more.

@SpeedNut: And the "Crybabies of PAX 2010" award goes to... everyone in this thread!

@Halo_Override: It was said in jest, but are you really dumb enough to think that "the players are the game"?

@Lucavi: Holy shit dude, are you serious? It is a fucking monopoly by definition. None of your qualifying statements have any bearing on whether or not it is a monopoly, nothing to do with the licensing agreement, the structure of the license, who is a "bad guy" or "good guy".
