I think Morrissey is a truly amazing/flawed musician/poet. But there's no way I'm going to see this shite.

This post is about pre-Stonewall, I know, but I'm old enough to have watched Querelle (1982) at my local Art House theater in SoCal.
That was a revolutionary film at at the time.

My aesthetic? Shocking.

It was a pleasant enough way to spend an hour, I guess. Not brilliant, not too bad.
I did notice the portrait of Queen Victoria was Pauline Collins from "Tooth and Claw". Nice touch.

I think it might be as simple as Capaldi and Mackie really, really enjoy each other's company. Great chemistry make good friends.
Don't think I ever thought that about him and Jenna Coleman. Ever.

We'll just call it the worst episode of S8 from now on.

QEII's great, great grandmother was Q Victoria, Prince Phillip's great grandmother was Q Victoria. That makes them 2nd cousins once removed I think.

What are they celebrating?
They celebrate a hollow and meaningless victory for a no-nothing asshole that MIGHT enact all their Randian wet dreams about disenfranchising poor people and marginalized people.

If it's Barry vs Archie, I don't know who sucks more.

Girlfriend really WAS in a coma.
I know, I know.

The Unconsoled is perhaps the most existentially frightening book I have ever read.

Yeah. I started reading this because it seemed like the kind of book I would like.
However… The self-congratulatory, aren't-I-clever narrative is kind of pissing me off.
