Jesus Christ, I'm kind of glad this person isn't just flipping out on me, although I'm sorry to see you got tangled up too.

I fully agree that it’s no one’s damn business. I totally cave on the legs/pits, but I only occasionally do a little landscaping elsewhere. As a result, I will defend to the death any other human who chooses to retain his/her natural body hair :)

Correction: he says it’s because it makes him stinky, not hot. So yeah, uh, never mind?

I dunno, Husband periodically shaves his pits because he says the hair makes him hot. For the record, he’s a pretty hairy dude, so I don’t know why he chooses that particularly. He doesn’t like, maintain it, though; he just shaves again at whatever point it becomes annoying.

Also, our Airbnb host who was having coffee and on his laptop right before we left. I wS like, “so, uh, hey, what are you doing for the next half an hour or so?”

“Really, I’m taking this very seriously, I’m sorry, I can’t stop.” <—— real thing I said duringour wedding.

Gigglers unite! I found out after I eloped that my mom also giggled like a crazy person through my parents’ ceremony.

I mean, you need a technical witness, but it doesn’t have to be a real witness. We eloped and our witnesses were a couple of randos from the city hall whom we bribed with beer afterwards. It was a great adventure.

No crying, but I did giggle hysterically like a goddamned lunatic the whole time. We did not have a big wedding, to put it mildly, so there is thankfully no video. Husband didn’t cry either, but he said the briefness of the ceremony and lack of aisle-walking probably contributed.

Yeah, I teach ESL to adults and I regularly apologize to them on behalf of the English language.

You’ll notice that she had the procedure done in Ukraine, NOT Germany. The German health system wanted nothing to do with it, for a reason. However, as a German resident with insurance, the system would never refuse treatment to her once pregnant.

I would agree that Americans have very bad habits, but I honestly blame the fact that everyone drives automatics. If you’re driving a standard, you just don’t have the available hands for those shenanigans. As others have pointed out, though, that is a distracted driving problem and has little to do with training and

You clearly didn’t drive while living in Germany, because one is forced to parallel park in even the shittiest and tiniest villages in most of Europe (Germany included).

It kind of depends on where you are in Europe. For example, even though the health system in Germany is great, there are lots of abortion related hoops to jump through, and the time limit is fucking low. I mean, we’re talking about mandatory counseling, mandatory three day waiting period between counseling and

I know absolutely nothing about then Mad Max franchise, but I still can still answer most of those questions and come up with reasonable explanations for the rest. I have to believe that you are being willfully obtuse. Perhaps your eyes glazed over at the action sequences , and you just zoned out basically every

I know, but, but... :(

Careful, it’s not as progressive as you might think. In my opinion, bitchin’ maternity leaves are rooted in one of two places: deeply sexist or deeply equal. In my personal experience, the former communist countries are still extremely patriarchal and sexist. The excellent treatment of women is often of the “on a

Woo! I live in a blue country! And we hope to stay here until after the babies are born, too.

Dude, you're an asshole for posting spoilers on a completely non-related article :(
