I always felt they should have used Thunderbird. Then you have Thunder and Lightning for your electric vehicles

Escort ZX2 S/R was the most Interesting one made. 90 GT isn’t even on the list of top 5 most interesting US Escorts lol
Thats not the same as saying “you can beat the crap out of them and not have to fix them”
You say that as if Ford isn’t being looked at for the 2.7/3.0 ecoboost and 6 SPD autos.
Being as its a private company with no shares that sells it’s designs, patents and uses to others larger companies. You also likely use what my company produces as its in nearly every soap, wax, grease perfume, deodorant and wet wipe type product you have in your home or garage. Also, we are heavily vested in…
Yeah every review I’ve seen of the “SPT” is that its almost as fast shifting as a DCT, is VERY smooth and nearly as quick as a 6spd.
I’d be worried if you CANT feel 50HP
Animals eat plastics and fabric and leather now, so whats your point? Any modern car already has lots of these materials in them. Let me guess. you just have NO idea already that these things are in use in your products and only het them when you finally learn about it.
It’s like a child loving a meal then learning it…
So they already eat plastics.... whats your point? Animals already eat cloths and leather with current foam.
The company I work for is working with automkaers to amke more plant based foam replacements for seats and dashboards.
Hes talking about how the way you worded it, it sounds like an excuse of “well old cars do it so its fine if Tesla fucks up on it”
Never worked at a company that didnt do severance if you were not fired. And none of them were large companies.
Fred Beans is singlehandedly the WORST dealership experience I’ve ever had trying to buy a car(The story of which was actually published in an article here). I actively avoid them.
I dont mind CVT’s just not in a “sporty” sedan. Its fine in say an Altima, Camry or hybrid. But for me a car has to have a manual or a VERY good 7-10spd to be considered sporty. I hear the WRX “SPT” is actually really good.
Honestly when recently looking for a car I looked to the Legacy only to find the manual was gone so I instantly crossed it off my list.
They upgraded the SHO engine but it somehow made 20 less HP than in the Taurus?
Even more rare is the Escort ZX2 SVT. So rare 1 spy shot of it was printed in a magazine: Sport Compact Car, March 1998.
Yeah I’d be inclined to run something just a bit higher even if it costs me 0.5mpg more. I feel like even if it cost 2MPG most people wouldn't notice it.
What’s sad is that I was raised as a Ford kid, and since I could drive most of my vehicles and those I’ve enjoyed and kept longest have been Fords. My First car was a Ford, and my current is a Ford.
I’d prefer they are NOT metallics. I’m tired of Ford making every color a metallic.
