I don’t see how Apple fiddling with iOS would change Android. But it would create a dangerous precedent, and make it all the more likely that Google would be forced to kowtow to the FBI’s demands sometime in the future.

Even if we assume for the sake of argument that Apple doesn’t have pure intentions (and they are a for profit enterprise, I don’t anyone thinks they’re on the side of angels), they still have the same interests here as ordinary rights-conscious consumers. I don’t care why Apple is fighting this. Their motivations are

That’s an interesting perspective. And this is why I try to put little stock in how politicians come off on TV. It’s hard though, because not everyone can meet candidates.

I wouldn’t be-I know people who said they would never settle end up settling. Absolutes just bother me-there are plenty of unmarried people.

That would just bother me way too much. They’re brothers, but one has a thick Jersey accent and the other has a thick Brooklyn accent? I suppose anything is possible, and I don’t watch that show for the verisimilitude, but that would bother me so much. I guess you could say the family moved, and accents are shaped

Actually, what’s interesting is that Scocca’s piece from Gawker the other day made me rethink this. Part of what he was saying was that Slick Willy is more talented at appearing warm and friendly but there’s something otherworldly and offputting about this. Hillary is bad at telegraphing warmth and friendliness but is

The Times is pretty overrated as a source but that’s a solid piece right there.

Well, polling data bears this out. Of course, not literally every person under 30 loves Bernie (my wife is pro-Hillary and I’m pretty agnostic between the two) but the data does show young uns overwhelmingly flocking to Bernie. For what it’s worth-so not a media invention.

My wife plays Fallout 4 until well after I go to sleep, so I don’t really notice that she’s there until I wake up. Maybe there is something to separate beds.

Well, people who want to get married say fuck it and settle. Not everyone.

Fret not! 25 is not old! (said the 27 year old). I know tons of people who got married much older. You’re not expired milk if you are still unmarried at 25.

Sometimes it seems like we’re going backwards. It’s like the “homosexicals are all pederasts!!!!1" all over again. Actually, some people actually still believe that.

Sorry, I’m afraid my small-minded transphobia Trumps™ your rights.
