Hey @Rebecca Fishbein, you should really correct/do some more research.  I had read/heard the same -- that they couldn’t get it to a vote without 2 Republican’s present.

Unsurprisingly, there are significant demographic differences in the extent to which a Summer Slide exists.  Poor kids slide more than rich kids, non-white kids slide more than white kids, etc. etc.
