@FriarNurgle: Whether or not that would have secured any of the drives, but it definitely would have slowed it all down xD

@mehoff88: Skeet, hair, maybe saliva. These thieves can be sick-minded anymore. I'm really glad to hear Brad Cooper is doing OK.

When I read the part on buying an external optical drive, it brought a couple of things to mind:

@MadMacs: Depends on the state. I think in some states, it's perfectly legal as long as at least ONE included party is aware of it (either party would suffice).

@RandomAcronym: Or cover your hand and recite the wrong numbers..

@thePrototype: You can argue as much as you want. CelleBrite now produces law enforcement units that can (usually) even retrieve recently deleted messages. Of course if they don't find any messages, they probably won't care.

@Costermonger: They don't annoy you in Microsoft Office.

@sjschwar: That's old spec. My new HTC has an optical drive.

There are a few different (user or carrier-programmable) codecs on CDMA networks. EVRC is the standard set by default on most devices, which includes 3 bandwidth options, topping out at 8.55Kbps (as opposed to 4 or 0.8Kbps). 13K uses more bandwidth (~13Kbps), but is an older codec. SMV and EVRC-B are new technologies

@GT Moore: From my OWN experience with multiple CDMA handsets and network structures, simultaneous voice and data on CDMA is achievable (using EvDO, not 1xRTT). Most of the time it's turned off, though (in the phone).

To remove all 'extraneous features' while remaining in the confines of YouTube's site, just add &feather=True to the end of the URL.

@jdale: That's a VERY reasonable cost when it comes to pool cleaning, without a doubt. Thanks for the recommendation!

@Eric1285: Yep, if you're driving commercially in Illinois, it's illegal. I've heard some officers may give you the choice of a ticket or physically destroying the detection equipment (imagine a truck driver smashing a $100+ gadget under his tire, lol)

@hizzlebizzle1138: When I left the comment, iniq's hadn't been approved or processed yet. What's so great about my handle, though?
