I love the Jets.

He’d be a pocket passer instead of a dual threat? Or am I playing this game wrong?

CAM NEWTON NEEDS TO BE SAVED BY DEADSPIN AND THESE CAPTAIN-SAVE-A-NEGRO WRITERS.

The head down to spear is bogus. He puts his head down to wrap up at the waist, like every tackle is done. You can’t keep your helmet facing forward when your body is parallel to the ground. As he goes for the tackle at the waist, Cam slides and drops 3-4 feet putting his head right in the strike zone.

well the counter-example they used was kirk cousins and not russell wilson so going with black

I didn’t read it either and I was going to write “TL;DR he’s black” but alas I’m late. How about TL;DR he dabs, can we say that?

There has to be gray area when it comes to a QB as a runner, and when the QB slides, and where the tackler was in relation to the start of that slide has to matter.

The forcible part seems kind of silly, but I find it very tough to dispute that it was a late slide, and I don’t believe the defender was aiming for his head. This non-call actually seems the least egregious of the ones missed on Newton.

Aren’t those synonyms?

Yes, a downside of subjectivity is inconsistency, but the alternative is ... what? If you want to leave ZERO room for judgment on head contact, then even grazes where both the defender and the quarterback successfully avoided major contact and even the potential of a concussions but where defender grazed the helmet

This post is too long for me to read. Someone spoil it for me. Is it because he’s black or because he’s brash?

Of course after the play that was incomplete to Graham, Seattle did run the ball from the 1....and didn’t get in the end zone.

I hope you lose your job so you can get called entitled and lazy.

Kenneth? Is that you?

Man, NPR has been dialing up the sports coverage lately....

The rookie wall is real. SB opportunities are rare. I think he’s got one more week.

Didn’t y’all proclaim just last week, that Eric Dickson would be back on the sidelines starting next season?

The Rams green-lighting a tired reboot everyone already saw and hated is the most LA thing they’ve done yet.

I love science fiction writers.
