If you want to talk about straight up villains, find another show to watch.

Except your example is of a one way dynamic in which an active agent enforces something onto a passive subject. That isn't Jaime and Cersei's relationship (at least as it was up until he was captured, everyone else is already arguing about that part).

Stop oppressing me by calling me 'man!' I'm a femdominist genderqueer two spirit wolfkin, and I demand that you refer to me with my chosen pronouns, zhe, zhim and zhis.

While it might be 'harmful' in terms of psychological impact, it's depicted in both the books and the series as a mutual expression of deep (if twisted) emotional devotion. Their incestuous relationship is messed up, but it's not something inflicted on one of them by the other.

Then can I indulge in some armchair psychotherapy and say you should be telling that to your friends, and not the comments section of avclub.com?

It's explicitly mentioned by the show creators in one of the production specials they did back in S1.

He realizes that modern feminism is a pile of BS, so he's at least a little switched on.

"People get angry about the most trivial things for the most trivial reasons."

But not raping them.

The overpowering of someone and tearing off of their clothes. If I ran up to someone in the street and tore their clothes off I'd be an asshole, but not a rapist.

"How he did it in 2 hours"

Which is why I said ''words like.''

So once a woman says no, they're absolutely not allowed to change their minds ever?

"Does sex only start when Jaime's penis goes in?"

She isn't 'supposed to be.' All of the characters are older in the show than they are in the books, flat out. Dany is 16 or 17 iirc (aka above the age of consent in most of the modern western world), not 13 or 14 like she is in the book. Huge difference.

You came off as a complete dick the first time, so we're even I guess?

He didn't force her to have sex. If she'd changed her mind post-insertion, yes, it would be rape. But she didn't, so it wasn't.

This makes up for your other attempt to be funny earlier.

She wasn't loosely based off anyone. 'red haired whore' isn't the basis for a character, it's the template at best. Ros is an entirely invented character.
