There is absolutely nothing complicated about the ATB system. If you're looking to min/max every turn of every battle through the entire game maybe but for general play it has none of the issues you describe.

Why are you leveling? L1 runs are the only way to truly experience Elden Rings true difficulty. Let people play how they want, thats the beauty of this game.

You’d think “here’s how you get 2player mode” would have been main article stuff of Nintendo Power back in the day. Why would that be hidden?

Yeah with the characters lore I kind of think the right call is to just not address her gender identity in a binary way in any official capacity.
