I like timing belts. They take about 2-6 hours to change, even on a car I’ve never worked on before (the first one took me two days, but i’ve got a few under my belt now). For about $200(cad) I’ve got a brand new timing system. MANY chain systems have design flaws or need servicing (replacement of tensioners/guides)…
Then unheard of ?
Not quite, Hondamatic is something else entirely.
I've always thought this was pretty neat.
I thought the main beef was the raising of the suspension which wrecked the handling.
Also depending on what you do for a living, and how rich you are, you might find it surprisingly difficult to emigrate.
I think they bring them in under the "significantly similar" being that V and Zeta platform cars were already sold in the US. But imagine they also fit US emissions controls, federalized lights. They also use a US market OE firewall in their LHD conversion.
They sandbag for many reasons.
It does look that way, but its happening due to chassis rigidity.
This isn't really a question
Sugar Daddy?
Yesterday, after spending much of our anniversary helping a friend with a timing belt job, I sat next to my girlfriend, and she said "You smell like boyfriend!" to which I coyly replied "Is that so? what does he smell like?" "Grease and and oil, stupid!"//
No. It's not even the best esprit. The S.4 S.4S, Sport 300, and series 1 cares are all preferable to the V8. See the V8 was maintenance intensive (normally not such a afwul thing, it is a supercar after all), but it was neutered by the gear box making the whole thing pointless.
Well, the new A3 is transverse and where petrany lives they sell FWD A4 and A6s. Also rumor has it that the next A4 might go transverse. And although their future is far from certain, Volvo Sales are Up, with the first ever redesign of their most important model still yet to debut. Also this engine although not…
Wrong. The apogee of automotive interior design was the Volvo 850.
Compared to a Tatra, not really. In terms of design nothing has really topped the 813/815 and I'm not sure anything ever will. If you don't understand why people go so ape about tatras read up on them. Hans Ludwinka is one of the greats.
