I’ve always thought the ‘fast travel’ complaint was silly. We’ve established how long it takes to travel from place to place. Now they’re using that X has traveled from Y to Z to mark that passage of time. To me it’s pretty straightforward, but I guess I’m in the minority?

I like this idea (I like it a lot), but I thought it was pretty clear Arya decided to head back North and find her family, now that she knows they’re floating around.

...servant seeing Jaime nude in Cersei’s bed is going to have major repercussions...

Really, the only ones who would know about it are the Brothers of the Night’s Watch, Davos, and Mellisandre. The Brothers who killed Jon are dead, and the remaining Brothers are loyal to him. If he asked them not to say anything, they won’t.

I think the fact that characters often look like they should still have an important part to play in the story but are killed anyway is one of the more interesting signatures of the show. They have backed off on that in the last few seasons, killing only relatively minor characters, and even bringing two back who we

I meant Kinvara. I couldn’t recall her name, but maybe I’m mistaken and she just met with Tyrian and Varys.

She went to check her mail.

One reason is because of the Lost Cause.

Ed Sheeran looks like Ed Sheeran’s Middle Ages ancestor when he was Ed Sheeran’s age.

She was both wrong and right - she had a very valid point about rewarding loyalty and punishing treason. BUT - the time to discuss that is not in front of your vassals. When you are the authority, you need to present a united front whether or not you agree with the final decision. It’s no different from parents who

I’m so tired of all the Sansa hate. She wasn’t wrong to advice Jon in the moment. It’s not like he sought out her council before making his choice. Interestingly other advisers have given their rulers advice while being surround by other people. Littlefinger and Varys asked Ned to wait before sending Dondarrion and

I never understood people getting salty about stories being told differently in different media. Like, why WOULD you want the exact same story beats? Of course there are scenes that are so classic it would be a shame to leave them out completely. But that’s when they shoehorn them into the plot a la Frey pie. Do I

I loved every second of that episode. The screen time, the lingering, the texture, the table setting, the artifice, the artistry, everything. But, I guess that means I’m doing it wrong since you are obviously the authority on doing it right.

The issue is when the author (God) of these books has said repeatedly on numerous occasions that he would rather have his books never adapted then to have them be not faithful to the books.

So you just want to know what happens? You don’t care if it looks or sounds interesting? Dany getting to Dragonstone is a huge moment. She’s spent seven seasons of television to get there. I think we’re allowed to spend a little time “drinking it in”.

All of you are damning her to a pointless death with this fangasming....

My sis while watching the Euron scene, “He’s an asshole. I’d definitely fuck him. I mean you need to scrub yourself with steel wool afterward, but he’s probably good in bed.”

Mark my words. This little motherfucker is going to kill one of those White Walker giants.

I wasn’t watching too closely at the start of the scene, but my first thought was “damn, they found an extra who can really sing!”
