If we had some safe way to gestate them outside of a human body, I’d be more willing to call this murder, but with the whole concept of body autonomy, I personally don’t think its right to force someone to carry a pregnancy they didn’t want.

So you’re saying you made a well thought out, reasonable decision about your health and your body; the people responsible for it did not judge or subject you to their personal bias; and your supportive partner was there for you and cared for you before, during and after.
Tommen: Welp.
So much of it just comes down to unconscious bias. People see two resumes (or portfolios, or bodies of work, or whatever) and automatically privilege the white guy’s without even realizing they’re doing it. They honestly believe they’re picking the most qualified candidate; they just don’t realize how much race and…
Just the part where the protesters get shot...
I feel like he didn’t pay so much attention to the major themes of the story though?
I think it’s obviously implied to be sucking his own dick.
Not to be a huge downer (which means I’m about to be a downer) but I’m glad they don’t mention what the rumor was.
I wouldn’t call Ned dense. He was going to beat Cersei if his own daughter hadn’t ratted him out. He wasn’t the best at it, obviously, but he understood enough to make the right moves, theoretically.
And this is exactly why I love GoT— as in life, nothing is easy, nothing is clear cut, and the decisions made echo down for years and years and years. Absolutely fascinating.
I mean, Hillary is more liberal than Obama, based on her record. I don’t know how you arrived at the 70s republican comparison, but that’s not what I’ve been reading at all.
I get it, Hillary’s politics are so moderate that she is basically a 1970s Republican. Economically I am much more in line with Bernie. But I am also a woman who likes reproductive rights, and our next president will have a lot of power over the future of our Supreme Court. Which means our next president will have a…
The weird thing is I went to a Bernie rally and he came off as pretty feminist to me. Like I was surprised because sometimes old socialists like him have some kind of regressive views on women, but he spent a pretty good chunk of time talking about pay equity, childcare, reproductive rights and etc.
Seriously, Berniebros, I don’t need politics mansplained to me. And I already have to fend off verbal tirades from my conservative family members, so knock it off.
OMG, PLEASE give me the Eartha Kitt biopic. Hurry up.
Black and Latino high school students only exist to challenge brand new white teachers and then grow to love them while, in the end, teaching the teacher the most meaningful lessons of all.
It’s a great way to pat ourselves on the backs. “We don’t own people anymore! Isn’t that great? All our problems are solved.”
Ice Cube: “Maybe we should have put a slave in Staight Outta Compton.” 5:00 mark.
It’s pretty fucking rich that people are cool with consuming and confronting slavery in the form of entertainment while gasping at the horror of it all, but refuse to budge when it comes to things like criminal justice reform, income inequality, etc., and acknowledging the lingering effects of a country built on the…
They do, but only to terrible schools where they are about to drop out until some middle-age white man having a mid-life crisis really connects with them.
