Lol this is why i hate doing group dinners with more than 6 people.

My biggest culture shock coming as an African black person was how much nicer Black Americans were to me compared to what i’d heard. Maybe it was cuz i was older, came right into college, when most people (i assume) had probably outgrown the “African booty scratcher” nonsense. I expected so much hostility.
