Schitt's Creek is the only show on here where I've seen multiple episodes - I'll generally read about new shows here, and then read the comments. Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara are wonderful in it, as is Chris Elliott. I'll take the Ash Vs. Evil Dead 3-D book, I love that stuff. One of the albums I miss the most is…
So, the Fred Trump Jr. strategy, the Trump brother who drank himself to death (and whose page has disappeared from Wikipedia)
The coal-fired space heaters will be going full blast.
I haven't eaten at a Carl's Jr in a couple of months, but that frequency just dropped to 'never for the rest of my living days'.
I'm starting to get the idea that you don't like religions too much.
Upvoted for using "suet" in a sentence.
Like Jay Leno's joke about the Chrysler K-car: "it made you wonder what A through J looked like."
Yeah, I was thinking about LDS, the other "spend eternity on your own planet" religion.
Howard Davis is right!
No that's "heh heh m heh heh"
That's the kind of comment I would have made when I was 20. Being religious /= being a stooge, although your personal experience may vary. Roger Ebert and Stephen Colbert are both Catholics. I saw a documentary about Jamaican music years ago, where they mentioned Rastafarianism, and the commentator said "you can shut…
Good point. He was always good at going from putting a glass in his mouth and doing "whaaa!" to, seconds later, doing his "but in all seriousness" schtick. Eugene Levy's character Bobby Bittman on SCTV caught this perfectly.
Exactly. Did he ever say that Hardly Working or Cinderfella was good? His entire career was a bad idea. So, if he said it was bad, it might wrap around in that circle, like people who are so far left, they're right, and be good.
It's not just American movies either. I saw a Chinese movie last night, a modern costume drama about the Tang Dynasty. The Chang'an castle looked like the Forbidden City took steroids - it had 100 foot-high doors and must have been 500 steps. The panoramic shots made everything look like an ant colony.
The Beebs is just a young squirt anyway.
Yeah, I used to be all high and mighty here in CA. But the more you know, the less high and mighty you can be.
I forgive you for all your stupid firsties, Don't Do That Older Brother. This is the best thing you've ever written.
They are udder masterpieces
Yeah, that's cool, man. (Furtively glancing at watch, trying not to tap foot).
