I live in Silicon Valley and have an indoor/outdoor antenna that I mounted on our old satellite dish mast, and that's how we get our local news and networks. The AT&T high-speed DSL is pretty good, I think we pay $80 a month and it's pretty fast - uses two twisted-pair lines. I think it's the 75 Mbps one.

Ha! My Calvin pees on your Chevy logo!

Slow pans over the crowd.

Todd Fuller was another pick from that time. They did have Run-TMC and Tom Tolbert, so it wasn't all bad.

Also, Harvey Pekar lived there. Just for that, Cleveland gets a lifetime pass.

From a Warriors Worrier who remembers Joe Barely Cares, Chris Washburn, and LaTroll, it is really weird to think that the Warriors are doing this well.

You need to renew the onion on your belt.

I had a friend in California who was from Waterbury VT. I remember him saying that at a town hall meeting somebody told his dad, whose family had been there 100 years, that "we're not going to let some newcomer tell us what to do".

Apparently done because the referee couldn't come close to synching the words. I love this movie too.

This was a weird exchange. John Lurie isn't really a punk, I'm not seeing this long line of punk influence either. At first glance, Jarmusch is an outlier, but he's really more a man of his time and place - New York, Lydia Lunch, and John Lurie. He's my favorite artist of that group, although Steve Buscemi is kind of

I know of a place where they can take thousands of trips. It's called the library. Hmmm, what would a Jack Webb costume consist of, besides hair oil and cigarettes?

I watched this with a friend of mine and his wife, both great movie lovers. I can't stand Hitch, his treatment of women has always bothered me. When all the birds were joining in the upper room and when she walks upstairs, I said "Caw! Coast is Clear!" in this Merrie Melodies bird-type voice. They don't play Hitchcock

I'll be taking 39 Steps off a 38-step pier.

His weather reports were always funny to me - every rain was "a real gullywasher!"

Pat was one of those all-arounders on KTVU - he did Dialing for Dollars and then had that morning kids' show as well. He had a horror thing as well? I grew up with Seymour in LA - Fright Night on KHJ - but he died of cancer many years ago.

Up next, Sammy Segui!

Let's get some runs!

If he announces, I hope he screws up the names, like Harry used to, even the Cubs players. Or at least, say "Struck him out! No, line drive to third!" when somebody strikes out and the pitcher throws it to third.

Hey Harry! (sound of beer cup being popped by stamping foot)

I'm not pro-MSFT by any means, but AAPL's byword has always been "we know what's best for you". My favorite was when the i4 phone came out, and there was an antenna problem for people who were left-handed, and Steve Jobs' response was "you're holding it wrong".
