That’s great, but he should use his own photos.  The fact that so many people think what he did is ok is disheartening.

I’m an artist.  I use references all the time, these were not just “references”.

Fair enough. He should have either used his own photos, purchased reference bundles or used open license ones. This is the same situation that Ilya Kuvshinov was in years ago.

It’s not tracing that’s a problem, it’s tracing other people’s work.

If I took one of those photos, or was the subject, I would not be happy with him profiting from it. If he just posted his work, gave credit to the original, and it was not for sale I wouldn’t have a problem with it.

This may seem like an overly cynical and bad-faith interpretation of what Critical Role is doing with this new campaign.”

Same sentiment.  I don’t think I managed to finish one FF remaster even though I buy like ... all of them.

I think a large part of their willingness to accept this arrangement is their experience with Activision. This deal seems like the complete opposite in terms of Bungie’s ability to determine what they work on and how they reach customers.

Considering your studio independent while legally saying you’ve been acquired must be a ballsy move. It’s like being held over a cliffside, but Bungie probably has many kinds of parachutes to get them out of being owned.

You don’t know me.

I mean, that’s all subreddits and all forums ever, really.

all launch missteps aside, you can’t fault them for listening and acting on that feedback. This is probably some of the best turnaround I’ve seen from a AAA studio in awhile.

Do you mean like Unggoy, Sangheili, Jiralhanae, San’Shyuum, Kig’Yar, Mgalekgolo, and Yanme’e?

Currently I feel like bots are an active detriment to the team their on because their AI difficulty is set so low. No idea why 343 decided to set the bot skill so low at Recruit level when the Test Flight had them at competent but fair ODST level difficulty.

I’ve seen that but it usually just means a ton of people joined and quit and were replaced by a different bot each time. I highly doubt there were 8 people on a team all at once.

I’ve almost completed the bp and never had this happen. Same for my brother who has already finished his and still keeps playing.

The problem with those kinds of show is that Battle Royale was making a societal statement as the core of its storytelling and worked from there...all of these other shows are first and foremost about how edgy they can be because “MAN IS THE REAL MONSTER ALL ALONG!!!”

Given that the most disappointed I ever was on Christmas morning as a kid was when Dad had opened up and set up all the electronics and toys ahead of time:
