Apple has repeatedly halfheartedly embraced and then shot down it's gaming contingent. The new Mac pro makes future proof high-power gaming impossible, and prior to that it was prohibitively expensive to most. Chris Roberts is a serious gamer and he has every right to be pissed at Apple. As a former Mac user and

Hehe, all right then. ;)

No, but I do have it on steam. And I can play offline, and without other online players. Not sure what point you are trying to get at.

In this case I think it may also be more just not wanting to play online with random people. Being forced into a situation where lag could ruin your game is kind of annoying too.

Inexplicably dropped sessions are a major pain in the ass with Rivals. Sure, host migration happens quickly enough when a connection is lost. But I lost progress two times after the action started back up. One of those instances was during a challenge that required me to rack up 100,000 Speed Points during one

So much hate in the tread.... Well, I for one am happy, this is what I wanted to see. Love Uncharted, and I'm sure it is Drake, that's obviously the antagonist speaking.

Hopefully something good, but based on the load of obvious marketing BS in the above (realistically there's still nothing console-moving until spring), I don't have a lot of hope :(

And... I'm not talking vibration damping in this case, just making the component stable. Three feet around the center of gravity are more stable than four because even a slightly uneven surface will cause the device to only be firmly supported on two feet.

You may be right about it changing, but I've known some Japanese audiophiles and they would actually prefer this for the reasons I mention in my other comment (three feet are lower vibration for home theater components, many audiophiles add their own feet to equipment for this reason) ;o)

Someone else posted a picture and the feet are located oddly - two down the groove in the console and one on the right. That's the reason it moves when you push on it, because the feet aren't in the front corners. It's definitely by design. Perfect? no. But it is stable, and moving when you push on the corner doesn't

A wobble implies it will move under normal use, it won't. It's perfectly stable and properly supported. I have an amp that has the exact same "issue" - being supported by three feet, with only one in the front, so pushing on one side will tilt it. However, it's actually by design to lower potential vibration. If you

Actually there isn't because that really isn't a wobble at all. It just tips a bit if you push down on it past where the feet on the console are on one side. It's not going to actually wobble, even in an earthquake, because the center of gravity is still quite stable. Nor *should* you be setting other consoles or

I've only barely played Infamous, but I can say there's a lot more value in "more of the same" when it's actually *fun* than when it's not, and Second Son seems like it could fill that roll.

It wasn't even just optical disk reads, the PS3 has major performance issues reading from disk (it happens on downloaded games as well), so there is little gain beyond even a 5400rpm drive. There seems to be a hard performance barrier due to some design choice.

This is horrible news, because it means my best friend who has decided to give up on consoles due to lack of time will never play potentially the best casual multiplayer shooter of the next several years, and... damn but I really wanted to play this game with friends.

We are in a linkshell, the FC is just for convenience. We know the difference. We are active enough to be rank 5 and have perks running periodically, but since there aren't that many of us and we aren't on at the same time (and are very different levels/interests), we aren't grouping much except to help the lowest

I know what you meant, but to me it's the same thing. I guess I expected less jerks at the top since it's been a couple months, and I'm saying that hasn't been my experience thus far. The earlier groups I had were much more friendly than those I've had lately at higher levels, and the same goes for the few people I've

"Additionally, Duty Finder groups are historically, a bit hit or miss, socially. However, it seems like this is constantly improving, as the most anti-social players leave the game."

I've been mostly enjoying crafting since I started two weeks ago, but the insane state of the market board and farmed mobs is frustrating. There are almost no products on my server which sell for predictable prices with appropriate margins - everything is either sold far under cost (sometimes under NPC buyback prices,

Maybe it's because I haven't gotten to the end-game yet, but to me XIV feels less repetitive than other MMOs I've played in the past, which is part of the appeal. It's less repetitive only if you choose to make it so though - there are plenty of options for how you can play, but there is a path of least resistance,
