Is this really Microsoft's fault, or is it Hollywood's? A big part of why movies based on any other media often suck is because Hollywood has next to no respect for the original content owners, and a massively inflated vision of their own self-worth. It's every bit as much of a fracked up industry as the music

OK, I've decided.

Said officials only have to do a limited amount of what they say they will do, and only those things with the most immediate public impact. Our officials don't just do one thing, and spending priorities are heavily leveraged by politicians for personal gain specifically because the populous doesn't want to concern

I don't entirely disagree with you, but if you honestly believe the government's spending priorities are set by the general citizenship, you're kidding yourself.

Some wonderful pics... and then there's a pic from instagram. Apologies to instagram lovers, but that just strikes me as a particularly depressing representation of society's current technological priorities.

I enjoyed the new movie as an entertaining action movie, but in all honesty I appreciate it more as JJ Abrams' fan fiction than as actual Star Trek, and as such I really don't feel like I need any more of it. The new show, and clearly this game, don't really care at all about any of the content, issues, or struggles

It's not backwards, it's different. I have an iPad and a Vita, and they are extremely different experiences. I prefer playing games I can actually control (ME:I is mind-numbingly frustrating after a while, not to mention buggy as hell) and that have fully fleshed out stories and gameplay (like a modern JRPG vs Chaos

Gaaaaaames, please, bring on the gaaaaames.

I think Guilty Crown is more convoluted than Blood+ - the plot devices are tossed around for the sake of the writer, not the viewer, and the characters are boring and shallow, emphasized by the fact the show tries to make them look deep. I know a lot of people disagree, but I thought it was pretty crappy writing - it

"Besides the amazingly artistic new Lupin the Third, nothing so far this year has really grabbed my attention."

I'm confused, your comment and link are contradictory (link is to a post acknowledging the bug, which they have done a couple times on the forum, just no fix yet). Light materials works fine on the new geth SMG, it modifies the cooldown time, not time itself (which of course you can't change in multiplayer).

It's not like the pack is going to be some magical benefit to your game anyway. The last one gave out unique N7 weapons, which are underpowered at level 1 and unlikely to ever get leveled up to usefulness. It's for achievement factor and to attract new players more than anything.

I'm not sure I'd say well polished - there are a significant number of bugs (and some are subtle, like SMG light materials aren't working right on most SMGs, showing correct in encumbrance but not changing cast times) and balance issues (most SMGs and ARs are almost useless, some of the classes are all but forgotten

The straight EXP weekend was announced for the PS3 because it didn't require any data from the players. None of the weekend challenges that require gathering any sort of data have been announced for the PS3, because Sony doesn't allow them to get that information on PSN.

That's an excellent analogy :)

Hmm? The vast majority of the quality anime I've seen, including several of my personal favorites, was released 1998-2005. There were a handful of excellent series from the 80s and 90s, but I certainly wouldn't say there were any more per year than now. The difference now is that there is a lot of mass produced crap

The funny part is that to the people actually critiquing the whole situation intelligently, they don't care about the official advertising. They care about certain individuals feeding them lines of crap and just general quality concerns.

The lists started by making sense, then went absolutely nutso. Also, Borderlands 2 is conspicuously missing.

Yup, absolutely.

Exactly, all the comments that people should know the DLC isn't included are kind of stupid, especially when talking about GameStop. GameStop is the defacto destination for family buying gifts or for younger kids, and they aren't going to have a bloody clue if a particular game had some DLC or online capability that's
