Apple's closed system will change my life in no way, apart from knowing about it, and maybe creating newer, better devices from other manufacturers.

@Ehrich Blackhound: I do the exact same thing. $9 plan, 2-3 DVDs a week, 8-12 a month. Watch most whatever I want on Instant Queue.

@MorganRW: I also saved you from being blown out of the sky, by browsing the internet all day. The proof? You didn't get blown out of the sky. Just as effective apparently.

The Horta weren't really villians, the Federation was the villians in that episode.

@Doomgape: I'll agree that the whole highway system in the 3rd DLC was annoying, or really all the DLC not making use of the waypoint systems. Especially when the highways randomly get blockaded and you have to run half of it on foot.

@sighing: My Sony Vaio with Win7 does it almost instantly as well, without an SSD. Wishing I had one; friend with his Vaio Z, Win7 and an SSD boots in seconds.

When I open and close my laptop lid, it is also instant-on. It's called standby mode, which based on the Macbook Air's touted 1 month of standby time, is all these do.

@TheMutator: It costs €9.95, and is questionably but definitely worth it.

@jShazBot: Why don't people eat the same thing every day? Sometimes change is good and exciting.

@shellandflame: And that'd be fine. I actually like a lot of the Ultimate costumes, from a movie perspective.

@krypterband: And if you want people to actually treat it like a real movie, and not a comic book movie, you have to make compromises. Seeing a guy run around in purple latex/spandex/whatever when there is no logical reason other than it looked good on a piece of paper 50 years ago is no reason to do it in a movie

@jundice: Exactly. Low Fat/Fat-Free Ice Cream typically just adds more sugar. Low Sodium items usually substitute potassium. Low sugar items add in sugar substitutes that taste gross (I'm looking at you, Splenda and Aspartame).

@Curves: I wouldn't directly step onto a mice if it jumped out in front of me either. I'd probably stop and let it scurry on for a second before I continued walking as well.

That isn't really ironic, it is just coincidental, and amusing.

Stretching before a workout has always just made my muscles ache more during the workout. I'm more one to just go for it and jump right in.

I wasn't aware anyone used the Windows key. Personally, it and that other button have always annoyed me.

@FutbolGenius: This is what I first imagined. Gotta power up my zombie, but it will be a pain since my intelligence will always be below 3.

@hypochondriac: I also was not compelled at all to see this in theaters. My only experience thus far with 3D has been Toy Story 3 in IMAX 3D, which I enjoyed.
