Originally they were going to have Donald Pleasence’s character get killed.

That Scarecrow is the one from the Animated series, right? Very nice.

Star Trek Discovery aired on “Space” in Canada, viewable through most cable subscriptions. Wonder if that pattern will repeat itself since DC Universe isn’t available in Canada, or if it will be on Netflix in Canada.

You’re always sorry, Charles, and there’s always a speech. And nobody cares.

Yeah, they can just throw Langstrom around a lot instead if they have to. It’s possible all the spidey film stuff with “The Lizard” would scare them off though, thinking the scientist turns beast angle is too overplayed.

The Batman

I’d be cool with an anthology series of Marvel shorts. Half hour mini stories, maybe the occasional two parter, that expand the lore out. Hosted by “The Watcher”, Rod Serling style, maybe the odd “what if” story... Interconnected callbacks optional.

Justin “The Toolman” Hammer? A sitcom?

I think what you’re really looking for is “Song 2" by Blur.

Think the old lady had her reusable bag taking up the empty seat beside her instead of on the floor by her feet. Totally justified.

I kinda want to print that photo out and swap it into the frames at Walmart.

I’d like to see some ‘off the beaten path’ person selected for Superman. Physical transformations are possible - check Chris Pratt - so they can range farther afield. A younger Superman than the typical 30s they seem to go with might be good as well. Certainly some good rising actors who have chops out there.

He can be a great Superman, Cavill, he wished to be. He only lacked the script to show the way.

I knew someone would catch me on that after I posted it, but I was too lazy to edit. Sorry Stannis.

Yeah, it’s weird to think that the MCU has less Oscars than the Academy Award winning film “Suicide Squad”.

Not unless it’s a sneaky cameo. Redford announced about a month ago that he was retiring from acting.

Think of it like the “Best Animated Picture” category: It’s a response to the quality work that is being done there, but being overlooked because too many of the voters look down on it as being a “lesser” art form.

This is going to be the same disappointment best animated feature is. A way to shunt films off so it’s only once every decade or so that something sneaks over to the ‘Best Picture’ category, like “Up”, “Beauty and the Beast” or “Toy Story 3" did - and that “Coco”, “Spirited Away” or others maybe should have...

Not sure what you mean, but I was referring to the end credits scene is all.
