Saw this last night, not having watched the show at all, and enjoyed it a fair bit. Lot of unexpected callouts and the background gags were great. Movie posters, like a Superman poster where he has a mustache, to background cameos (Detective Chimp!) to unexpected Kirby characters to a borrowed line (and music cue)

If you’re a Young Justice fan you may want to catch the during the credits scene from this movie, or dig info up on it online.

As mentioned before, Lady Shiva would be good. I’ve always had a soft spot for the original Ventriloquist, but can’t see that happening unfortunately.

Miss Chanandler Bong

That shake-my-arms-out, time-for-the-fisticuffs-to-get-serious move is excellent, he needs to do that in all films from now on.

Mr.Jackson’s shirt game lately has been very much on point.

For Comic Cons in Europe, will there be a pop-up Pizza Hut?

Not going for a ‘hot take’ here, but The Killing Joke is actually kinda bad. Or at least, it doesn’t hold up well. And the animated movie, well, that was astoundingly worse.

I idly googled “Tactical Polos” to see what distinguished them from a regular polo. This site keeps on top of things:

I thought not-Sorbo was Rolf Muller, but I guess upon reflection he’s more not-Arnold.

I was on the fence about dropping it entirely (I loved the bright fun of season one, but season two had some sophomore blues I attributed to less Cat Grant). Ouch on season 3 then.

OK - have the whole season DVR’d, haven’t touched it yet. Kept meaning to, honest. Looks like it will be summer watching.

Last year Some of them hit a number of conventions together for a reunion tour of sorts, and I think they’re doing a few this year too, like this one:

Link to site dies, some kind of MySQL errors. Can’t check them out, but it doesn’t give me confidence in this “new company” and their capabilities if they can’t get their website solid enough to accept people’s coinage.

Pulling from board games, maybe Gammarauders? Big giant heavily armed mutant animals in a nonsensical future. There was even a comic series that I recall reading that was pretty goofy. Could be a Guardians of the Galaxy crossed with Rampage action/sci-fi comedy thing.

Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Henry Cavill are great in their roles, but they don’t fit their characters like a glove like Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth do.

You may want to stay away from the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

I’m just hoping for a Dennis Hopper cameo (via CGI).

Darren in Bewitched worked out fine.
