@coffinmouth: You win the irony award for that last line. I lol'd.

@Hoss: No, 55% actually listen to music via their phone. Don't know if that was a typo, but if it wasn't, then perhaps you'd agree that 55% is a lot less impressive than 65%. :P

@atomicrabbit: Let me put outerfringe's post a different way.

@JuryDuty: You beat me to the bunch. This is an endemic problem caused by a number of factors, some of which are:

It's definitely a good plan, but it really does require smart calculations on the consumer's behalf.

When researching my car, I used [Edmunds.com] and relied on their "True Market Value" ratings. Seemed to do the trick well enough, and it adjusts by area code, so it might work for Canada just fine.

I use PrintScreen and MSPaint. It does the job just fine... but to be fair, I don't exactly have a huge use for screenshots.

Programs like this, in my experience, are notoriously unreliable. The only exception I ever found was Mixmeister, and even that one has been spotty for me. The programs also tend to have huge problems processing tempo variances within songs.

Grats, LH. LH and Giz are about the only two tech blogs I GENUINELY trust these days... I'm proud and happy to see you all doing so well.

@SDreamer: QFT. The "Personalize" button would be a fantastic addition. I know many users who re-theme regularly because they like variety, and having a hotlink right on the taskbar would be great for them.

@Die The Villian: I was excited to see this and then was quickly disappointed.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, I used to have both of these models of remote control. Therefore, I win the thread.

I might be a little over-organized. Take, for instance, my folder hierarchy to reach the presentation files for the first project I did for ME 211, a class I took in the fall of 2006:

@jupiterthunder: You're right, it indeed only has a Google search box.

@SuperTuna: I heard they're paying him in iPhones.

@fjpoblam: Yeah, I agree. I'm really just not sure what all the fuss is about with this whole "in the cloud" stuff. Aren't people concerned about security and hard backups? Or travel and convenience?

@draguuu: Well, yeah, you can't really beat Pro Tools, but the whole point of this is that it's free and easy for average people to use. Pro Tools is hellishly expensive and has a sick learning curve.

Hey, this is pretty neat. Does anyone know of something like this for Verizon phones? Granted, it wouldn't be nearly the same implementation, but still...
