I too prefer to shit the old fashion way. However wireless charging is really convenient and so is dropping all your devices in one spot to charge.

I’m also running a 2010 MBP, it got a little slow but after upgrading RAM and adding a SSD it was back to running like new.  I agree that being stuck pre-Mojave sucks.  Right now I’m supplementing with a 10.5 iPad Pro until I figure out what new Mac laptop to get.

I’ve been living with a “big fat notch” on my XR with it’s “nothing special” screen since its launch day and neither the notch or screen bother me in the least. I like my phone a lot and actually prefer Face ID to Touch ID, but to each their own.

I’m a fan of the JVC Gumy Plus, decent sound plus a mic so you can make calls and they last about the same length of time as these Panasonics. There’s no shame in having a cheap pair of headphones around.
