Crank windows aren’t really a current trend, sadly, you’d be hard pressed to find any new car with them at this point.
What’s worse is now that side airbags are a thing, it’s not like I can easily swap to something better. Wife’s Fit is a killer on long drives but we’re in an inspection state, so can’t put in Prelude seats because airbag light.

It was Suzuki’s last desperate attempts to sell something in the US, I’m guessing they just wanted to get them on the market with as little extra cost as possible. They tried a little harder with Chevy in Europe, but only a little.
