I tried to read this article, but the glare of the Commissioner’s and Lombardi trophies is just too bright and it’s hurting my eyes.

This specific incident is ridiculous, but it’s unfair to pin the whole feud on the Hillary people. The leftists didn’t do a damn thing to keep Trump out of office, and then spent the next year trying to engineer a hostile takeover of the Democratic Party. There’s bad blood on both sides, because both sides acted like

Robert Kraft paid for 100% of the construction costs, a rare instance of an NFL owner privately financing the construction of a stadium.

She’s right. It won’t pass the Senate. Its wildly aspirational tone is already being misinterpreted, both willfully and accidentally, by hucksters and rubes alike. I don’t think anyone who writes for this site has paused to consider that establishment Democrats might know what they’re doing, or have a better handle on

I’ve heard at least a dozen people repeat this stupid canard today. This “insight” is based on what, exactly?

Taxpayer subsidies?

I grew up 15 minutes from Brookline. My late aunt was his friend in grade school. Acquaintance with Trump notwithstanding, Bob Kraft is one of the classiest individuals in pro sports, and is something of a folk hero around here. It was a foregone conclusion that the Patriots were headed to St. Louis until he swooped

The mix of moral revulsion and outright glee with which this is being treated—not just by the commentariat but by many of the staff (I don’t mean you)—is really, really weird. You want to grandstand about human trafficking? Fine. You want to laugh your ass off at Kraft? OK. But pick one.

I hope you make a highly visible and embarrassing public mistake someday and everyone assumes the absolute worst about you. I mean seriously, listen to yourself.

This is the most charitable take I’ve seen on this site today. It’s weird to see so much glee juxtaposed with unchecked moral outrage.

I said this exact thing during the first episode. She was unstoppable during her initial appearance and there’s no way there were five better players in that pool.

Most men perceive the topic of cunnilingus with extreme embarrassment and will definitely never publicly admit that they do it

The technology is awesome. The level of entitlement of the guy doing it, being rich enough to own a Tesla and yet too cheap to rent a damn parking space, is really gross. Attitudes like his, writ large, are the reason our roads are crumbling and our kids barely learn how to count in school

But the effort required functions as a deterrent. Sort of like how they started using cameras to enforce speed limits in Rhode Island, sent out thousands of tickets, and had an angry mob on their hands. Or how wiretap laws became a lot creepier once the NSA had the capacity to listen to everyone’s phone calls.

Or he could rent a damn parking space like every other white-collar driver who works in a developed area. This guy is a prick.

They generally do that because there’s a shortage of spaces, so a couple of assholes don’t monopolize the whole area parking their 6-figure toys.

So appropriate coming from Paul Ryan’s hometown. If there’s a two-hour limit on parking spaces, it’s because there aren’t enough of them to meet demand. In most areas, you can rent a space on a monthly basis, but this guy can’t be bothered to pay for the public facilities he’s hogging, despite being rich enough to own

You honestly think Bernie Sanders invented the idea of single-payer healthcare, or that establishment Democrats didn’t want it? If you’d been paying attention in 2010, you’d realize that wasn’t the case at all; they got the best deal they could in the face of truly cynical Republican opposition.

You do realize that I, personally, don’t have a seat in Congress, right?

I agree with most of that, and you seem eminently reasonable. But you’re the exception, and your views aren’t that far out-of-step with what I’d consider establishment liberal values. Look at the other people posting in this thread or on Twitter, most of whom didn’t know the first thing about politics or policy prior
