He has had other POC and people from the LGBTQ community on his show. The shows has been consistently quite diverse.

I loved her on Reno 911, but I love her in Getting On. But to be fair, the whole cast of Getting On is awesome, and it's prolly one of the most underrated shows on HBO. It's literally laugh out loud funny, sometimes until it hurts.

Just to reiterate what someone said below, we're one of the most populous states. It's an international destination. Most importantly, our arrest records our easily accessible. Not the same for California or New York, which rest assured would has crazier stories to share.
