The devs have pretty strongly implied there are financial barriers associated with Nick itself that prevented the inclusion of voice acting. They’re a small indy team and it seems like Nick was not willing to front the cost of bringing in new VA work. I’ve seen folks ask why they don’t just use audio pre-recorded from

“Platform fighter” has kind of become a genre past Smash. Mechanically this game is different in meaningful ways, just like Brawlhalla or Rivals of Aether. I think at this point calling any platform fighter a Smash ripoff is a bit like calling Mortal Kombat a Street Fighter ripoff.

I love you for counting.

I discovered the same thing playing Metroid: Zero Mission on my recently purchased Anbernic 351V. Playing around in the RetroArch options, I accidentally found the filter that emulates the original GBA screen, and was amazed by how more natural the colours looked. Even as someone that never owned a GBA, I appreciated

I am genuinely saddened by the trouble you are describing, but the big picture is that Facebook is an evil, destructive force undermining human rights, democracy, the fight against coronavirus, and the fight against climate change. It can’t be that shocking to see people root for its destruction. That fact that it’s

Perfect example of how shameful it is to express anything about male sexuality at the moment. Someone immediately assumes that I’m advocating for a return to the bullshit of the past. Nah man, none of that should come back. But it’s perfectly fine for men to be attracted to women, and even talk about it in a way that

We’ve entered this weird phase of society where sexuality is great except for male heterosexuality. Women lusting after male characters? Great! Men objectifying other men? Right on! Women talking about how horny they are for other women? Fuck yeah! Men being attracted to women? Oh hell no!

“Denzel—are you—do you feel—you know some people say Hollywood folks should stick to acting,” Couric asked.

I got the same vibe.

People have been saying this for every bump in standard resolutions since like, DVDs started to replace VHS ...

Yes, it’s too early to get the hardware. Also, yes, it’s cool content producers are starting early. So we have content when the hardware is accessible, as opposed to pretty much every past resolution bumps.

Well that’s a really great way to get the Internet Hate Brigade to start doxxing and threatening random people.

I don’t think anyone goes to Taco Bell expecting genuine Mexican cuisine. Fast food is equivalent to microwave dinners. The appeal is the speed and convenience. If it’s cheap, fills your stomach and tastes decent then that’s enough for most people.

You’re really fucking stupid that I love that commenters are point out your stupidity and inability to understand what you read, if you can even read.

Which only existed to prop up the abortive real money auction house. Funny how the console versions, which came later, didn’t require an online connection.

“However, there’s more that is locked away from offline players including the ability to unlock weapons, items, outfits, and earn new starting locations... playing offline also means players won’t be able to complete in-game challenges or earn experience to level up your Mastery Rank for each map.

The online features like “unlocking the different starts and gear for the offline levels”? The REGULAR progression of the game is all tied to the online, you seriously are being ridiculous here. Imagine if Hades prevented you from using anything but the unleveled Sword and mirror if you played it offline.

Which is often used as a pretext for DRM in all but name. Just look at Sim City, or Diablo 3.

Yeah, this is a shitshow. It’s especially worrying because the no-DRM policy is the ONE reason to buy games on GOG and not Steam since Valve’s ecosystem, for all of its MANY flaws, has several “luxuries” that are simply nonexistent on CDPR’s storefront. It also has better and more frequent discounts.

This is actually something from Hitman III on consoles even and I’m surprised it wasn’t reported then. When the servers were spotty at launch, sometimes I’d finish a two hour run only to have it invalidated because the post-Mission screen wouldn’t connect to the IOI servers. It’s total BS.
