Diminishing returns is a thing but the fact of the matter is that very little content has been mastered in 4K properly with proper hardware without sacrifices. Those sacrifices add up, especially when you factor in consumer expectations and lack of education and subjectivity on the matter. It’s like saying a digital

Prime version will just be the Origin version. You’ll link your origin account and redeem it through Prime to origin. So you’ll be set.

You could easily tell the algorithm to never go above MSRP. If it can average out a product it can see its MSRP... No excuse here, really. It is just what it is. Amazon taking advantage, as usual.

DLSS is absolutely great. ESPECIALLY for a handheld device. It’s certainly also great for TV. The best part is it’d be properly supported on a console versus PC where you have diminishing returns on users that can use it, if they even choose to. It wouldn’t make much sense to focus on native 4k, or even 1440p for a

They’d need a new chip from Nvidia and they don’t have it. If the Switch Tegra was a cut version of a higher Tegra chip, they could have done it then. But all they could do is a refab with a smaller die and optimize that. There was never going to be an enhanced switch. Only a successor chip.

It makes me hate it and Breath of the Wild all the more.

If they were to make a more powerful Switch it would require a brand new chip that Nvidia hasn’t made, let alone announced yet. (Traditionally Nvidia announces the new chip lines before their partners announce their new product. Even if it’s just to investors.)

People don’t go to burger king expecting steak. Likewise, people don’t go to Taco Bell expecting refined and authentic Mexican food.

You can easily make saves edit proof without requiring a persistent connection. The game uses its servers for its drops so it was semi-legit but what it really was was DRM and a way to protect their Auction House.

Content that isn’t purely online related is being locked away. That’s the problem. That’s the “DRM” problem here. Obviously it makes sense online components need an internet connection. But Hitman’s “online” components actually don’t need a persistent internet connection. It needs an update and done until the next

If they had done another “expansion” or even class, I’d jump all in. It’d be just enough since if we’re being honest the added campaign isn’t all the great but just having another class absolutely is.

Maybe just like them you need to chill. There is literally nothing over ANY of this that is worth getting angry at...

I hooked up the 3 button genesis controller to an Atari 2600. 6 button version never worked for me. So there’s that, at least, lol. It’s about the only time I ever felt like it was totally worth having that 3 button controller.

I disagree about using a modern controller as being better - at least as a rule. Some games really work/feel better when you have the proper button layout but really some games in particular benefit from having a proper dead zone that the N64 analog stick is unique to having. In emulation you can tweak it in software

I had a few friends that had large hands and they loved the option to hold the controller on the left and still use the analog stick.

I’ll sacrifice both for a proper Star Wars game again. JFO was a joke and a tease. Let alone an obvious rush job.

Good thing you weren’t using the internet when image search was first released, and really the first 12 years of it going mainstream. Then again you might be desensitized and realize there are far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far,.....far.... greater horrors out there.

Yeah it seems to me that the game defaults to default settings when applying mods, or it is using all the skater settings that the user used instead of just what the mod is focusing on. Which is more a technical oversight than a cultural oversight. Most mod submissions are from people submitting what they created for

The global pandemic is over, from a world-wide governments point of view. Time to accept it. (Not that I support that view, it just is what it is)

This should be reactionary programmed, not prediction. It’s a waste of resources. There are plenty of legitimate reasons to have this as a valid gameplay mechanic.
