I like the idea of subverting standard rom-com tropes by saying "There can be two (or three, or four…) great loves in your life" but I agree that the finale's execution of that idea was more off-putting than heart warming.

Its a metaphor for Brexit.

My HIMYM truncating actually is watching just Seasons 1-5, and then the finale. I actually like the ending in theory, but it suffered from the show running too long. It would have worked really well actually coming off of Season 5 into an alternate Season 6.

Chuck ends with Season 2. There's still some great episodes in the last three seasons, but the show never really recovered from their inorganic attempts to drag out the will they/wont they with Chuck and Sarah. The last minute season extensions, lower budget, and blatant Subway advertising also really threw off the

The Twits! Not sure it could be stretched to movie length, but if it were, Danny DeVito would be perfect casting for Mr. Twit.

The replacement Pinhead was just laughable. They dubbed over the voice anyway, so why not get someone who bore any resemblance at all to Bradley
I thought Jackie Earle Haley did a admirable job trying to make the role his own, but, like I said, Englund IS Freddy. Haley's makeup certainly didn't help his cause either.

Yeah, I can't see the role played by anyone but him, but I also can't see him in any other role.
Very envious you got to meet him.

Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger.

Jason X. Just throwing something into space is really the laziest way to try to reinvigorate a franchise, but I think it ended up being so ridiculous, it worked.

Alexandre Desplat is scoring Rogue One, and James Newton Howard is scoring Fantastic Beasts, which both sound extremely promising to me! Williams' work has obviously completely defined both worlds though, so I'm sure their scores will adapt his work somewhat, just like what Michael Giacchino did with Jurassic World.

Man, Chuck always had the best music. Discovered so many great bands through that show.

I agree its an excellent score. I'd put it 2nd among Doyle's work, after Thor, which I consider absolutely fantastic.
Speaking of "exceptional soundtracks for mediocre movies," listen to Michael Giacchino's score for Jupiter Ascending, if you haven't already. It's magnificent!

It always read "Deadpool", but I can't blame you for having Daredevil on your mind, given both my username/picture, and the fact that SEASON 2 IS UPON US!
Also, yes, I agree that some people do confuse the two. Vanessa in Deadpool was a damsel in distress, Vanessa in Daredevil was not.

One of the Deadpool trailers had Vanessa say the line "I've played a lot of roles in my life. Damsel in Distress isn't one of them," which did not actually appear in the film itself, and of course, the character WAS in fact a typical damsel in distress.

Used to absolutely love the book Eragon when I was really young, but the atrocious movie really highlighted the fact that its a blatant rip off of Star Wars in a Middle Earth setting. The books did get more unique as they went along, but I can't really enjoy the first one in the same way anymore.

He's only two weeks from retirement!

Dark Fury is an animated movie set in the universe, separate from the movie "The Chronicles of Riddick"

Fun Fact: Oogieloves has the record for the worst opening weekend of all time for a film opening in more than 2000 theaters, and the second worst per theater average!

I doubt it. Grimm usually manages to stay above the 1.0 A18-49 line, where as Sleepy Hollow has already been below that for most of Season 3. With the move to Fridays, its safe to assume there will be a handful of viewers who switch to DVR, making them drop even further. Not to mention that the reason that FOX cut the

I absolutely agree with everything you said. This is why I'm not sad to see the show go anymore, despite being a huge fan in Season 1. It's lost almost everything that made it unique and exciting including the fish out of water humor, like you said, as well as the fast paced plot developments, the looming mythology,
