Speak of the Deville

Toyota and Honda (and Subaru in my market) are where you go when you aren’t a good salesperson. They’ve had decades now sitting on their laurels of reliability and people still eat that shit up, so you don’t need to provide a good experience or even really know anything about the cars.

My very limited experience with Dodge dealers is that they know you are only there to get a good deal and they don’t play as many games as a Toyota Dealership that knows you want a Toyota and figure they can play games to pay the maximum amount for one.

We bought a new Santa Fe last year. We traded in our Rav4 but didn’t have the paper title, so we signed a limited POA that let them apply for the title.

The next day, the salesman had my wife come in and told her that since we signed a POA, that she could sign my name for me in my absence. He wanted to change some of

You nailed it when it comes to clean energy and infrastructure. That’s where Japan’s been quietly building up a lead that most of us aren’t paying attention to yet. They’ve been retooling Japan’s national infrastructure for hydrogen, and investing in safer nuclear plants that can make hydrogen production green.

I suppose only those of us who grew up with comedians like Lenny Bruce, Rodney Dangerfield, Sam Kinison, Andrew Dice Clay, George Carlin, Redd Foxx, Eddie Murphy, Prichard Pryor, and Don Rickles aren’t triggered by insults.

For me, the punishment of stalling my dad’s truck scared me. It also had a super hard to push clutch and it was easy to stall because when you unlocked your knee and have the clutch fling it into your face and pop the clutch as a result.

I’ve taught a LOT of people to drive stick, and I believe the best by far to be the Jeep Wrangler Tj. Plenty of torque, a long, forgiving clutch with good feedback, a low first gear, long, deliberate throws with a nice, re-affirming “click” into gear, they just make it very simple.

I think we are closer to $100B now, or roughly 5x the cost of ending homelessness. At least stockholders of Lockheed and Raytheon are happy while our tax dollars get funneled upwards!

Yeah, its too pretty to hack up.

I want this thing so bad. I have a super clean black on black P71 begging for this treatment...

Except that this is a Commodore.

All of these replies get a star. I especially love the sister wives/cult options.

Multiple wives? You’re gonna need a van.

Have more wives and kids!

Bring the wife and kids?

Ditch the wife and kids.

Tell me you’re an E39 fanboi without telling me you’re an E39 fanboi, I’ll go first :D.

This has enough new tech to make it a safe and comfortable daily or cruiser. Enough juice and pedals to make it fun, and enough analog buttons to satisfy a Luddite like me, and it still looks like a BMW should, not a bloat d version of what a BMW should look like with a bloated kidney grill. A lot to like here, is it

Those who forget the past are destined to repeat it. Plastic timing chain guides.  I bet that a subtle tick tick tick has started, prompting sale.

For silly winter fun. A RWD hooptie is best. I nominate a P71.  Drive it hard, learn car control.... and if you stuffed it in the snowbank, it doesn’t hurt the wallet too much.
