Correct, the used market isn’t going anywhere but up from here. Well until Hertz dumps their fleet. But that possible dip would only be very, very temporary. New vehicle pricing is still astronomical. Until manufacturers start making cheaper cars (never), used prices are going to stay strong.

I’ve dealt with this dealer group in the past. They have a separate classics department and yeah, most of their pricing is bananas. 

Personal taste? Long and low luxury sedans are best with an NA V8. That’s not to say that there aren’t awesome FI 6's out there that’ll do the job just as well. All good points I didn’t think of. 

The only thing I use it for is to let the dog lay down next to me. Personally still prefer it over the mammoth center consoles of today’s trucks.
