You are not. And I pray to the automotive gods that the rest looks as good and they have the balls to produce it.

Here’s a good list of some of the specific cars.

Many, many moons ago Cadillac really was the “standard of the world”. They were high tech for the time, luxurious, fast for their size and frankly beautiful. Not one manufacturer in the world at the time could compete. Cadillac had the might of the largest automotive manufacturer and one of the largest corporations in

I agree with what you’re saying here. I’ll add that I believe they need to go electric and be good at it.

That is something I think we can both agree on.

Ok, reading that back to myself I’m realizing I’m being a dick. I’m days away from my second kid and a sick as hell wife and I’m on an hour of sleep a night lately.

You’re right but the belt lines on everything got taller in the last 20 years because of pedestrian safety regs. In every other dimension theyre practically the same. That few extra inches in height are not a reason to get hysterical over. Not that I’m claiming you’re specifically being hysterical.

Yup. A regular cab truck is definitely smaller than a crew cab truck. Not the best example.

Compare that ‘87 with it’s modern counterpart (reg cab, 6 or 8 foot bed) and the two trucks are almost identical. Granted trucks now are slightly taller, but that’s because belt lines needed to go up across all vehicle types. It wasn’t until the late 90's that Crew Cab’s became common place and that’s why I stressed

Thank you for that last bit.

Wholesale on this is somewhere around $38k depending on condition. $41k retail. He’s not far off but he’s priced too high.

Well buddy, you should have put that disclaimer above the pics cause I already slid in ’em like pair of Keds.

I’ve been dreaming of a lifted Crown Vic for a long time. Problem is I bought a “nice” Crown Vic, not a beat up old P71. Well, off to Craigslist again!

Quit tuggin’ on my heartstrings Joe.

Agreed. I made a slightly similar point below.

I’d like to think I’m the former but more than likely I’m the latter and already make a good co-driver. Not professionally or in any “sanctioned” event of course.

This is stuff my dad taught me and he probably couldn’t tell you what rally racing is. That by no means is me saying I could even attempt to compete in a rally, but it’s definitely stuff other skilled drivers use regularly. I vividly remember him telling me to watch the tree line ahead and I still catch myself doing

Oh the Ford is much nicer objectively
