I wouldn’t worry about it. No one truly gives a shit because they’re barely in service anymore and most people are aware that civilians drive them. Don’t act like a whacker and you’ll be fine.
I mean, I’m a Cadillac guy and even I’m surprised they pulled this off. It is a Cadillac true to its roots.
These guys are running out of shit to complain about.
You’re probably right.
I always wondered what they were going for with those lights on the H3. Don’t get me wrong, I’m an amber roof indicator aficionado and I love them here, but I don’t know what drove them to putting them on the small (I know, I know, relatively) Hummer SUV.
Branding.
Sales numbers or not, If you think Acura has more cultural significance than Cadillac in the US, you’ve got some pretty big blinders on there pal.
Worst part is you’re probably right.
There’s a huge difference in the general public’s perception of Cadillac and the others. Shit, there are more songs that mention the Coupe De’Ville than Oldsmobiles and Pontiacs combined, let alone all the other notable Cadillacs.
You’re forgetting Cadillac has more cultural cache than Oldsmobile ever did. Cadillac is and was GM’s luxury arm. Oldsmobile was their “refined” everyman’s car. Of course they had more volume. In automotive cricles you could argue that Oldsmobiles were better packaged and better valued, but in the minds of the general…
I just wanna know who here picked NP. I got some stuff you can buy.
Awesome, thanks for the scoop.
Sister vehicles?!?! Now you have my interest.
There’s nothing cooler than seeing something that by all rights shouldn’t maneuver like that, maneuver like that. It’s probably why I have an irrational love of giant sedans that handle well.
